Every person is different, there are two flying schools at Liverpool Ravenair and LFS , visit each and see what works for you.

Never too late to start. I'm 52 and only (re) started last year. Initially flew 36 hours when I lived in the US back in 1998 but never continued when I came back to Liverpool. Regret it now - but still having a lot of fun although due to work/studies, it's taking me a lot longer to get the PPL. Hope to complete it by Spring and then do my IMC before the end of the year.
