Black Celebration era, an obscure album for an obscure time for the band. The atempt of came out from the underground and be a successful popular band. But not yet, Black Celebration was very necessary, to prove dignity and maturity. For my point of view, the best album and, But Not Tonight, the greatest single from the 80s. That would never be possible without Alan Wilder, our sound genius, the translator for the soundtrack of a generation. Love and respect to you Alan.

I’m late to this, but bravo! What a phenomenal and emotional reimagining. Had me thinking about my past, a past in which this song was more relevant in the music landscape. When times were simpler and my family was bigger. Made me long for those times. Sublime ❤

My favorite Depeche Mode song since 2005. Meant everything to me at a time I didn't know I needed it. This song saved my life. I keep coming back to this KZbin video. Remains my most favorite song of all time. And beautifully done, Vaughn (Vaughty).

Wow. great cover of a great tune, the live version (you know the one) is amazing and this piano version kind of replicates that. It's so interesting to hear the vocal notes included and your added intricacy. Very nice.. I've messed around with synths etc for decades, still cant play, and massacred many DM covers. Wouldn't ever have attempted this one. It looks so complex. I seen them live on the last date of the violator tour and twice on devotional, crystal palace and birmingham..

Enjoyed this a lot - nice work! BNT is one of my all time favorites from DM and it really lends itself well to a piano interpretation. Hearing Martin sing it live in concert 10 years ago is at the top of my DM concert experiences over the years.
