When I was just in rehab, I was probably in 3 days, just long enough for the withdrawls to start slowly tapering off. This song came to me when I was lying in my bed, staring at the ceiling & as I sang it out loud, tears just poured out of my eyes. For once I felt a real emotion, I didn't know what it was, but I was feeling again. I know the song wasn't meant for a moment like that, but to me, it said everything I felt at that moment. I surrendered. Recovery is a great gift and so is this song.
