I guess I'm surprised to see the "attitude", if you will, of Martin. here in the US, there have always been autograph sessions for every show I have ever went to. DM, especially Dave, are talkative with fans. wow. thanks Dave for keeping it real!!

If I was a big rock star for decades I can see myself getting bit jaded with fans seeking autographs and such. Any and all encounters with famous people I´ve had I´m regretfull I didn´t just treat them as normal people. If there´s a special meetup then is the time for autographs not like this its just silliness. I´m utterly ashamed I´ve ever asked for anyones autograph to be honest (and I have).

I’m sure there is a valid reason for them not signing autographs, their security do seem a bit strict about the whole thing, but equally I’m sure it’s also frustrating waiting for ages for them to appear and for them to just walk past! A few autographs or pictures wouldn’t kill them!

Sans déconner comment c'est vraiment insupportable d'entendre des truc du genre "ohlala il aurait pu venir signer quelque chose hein .." OH LES GARS ! Les mecs ont le droit à ça TOUT les soirs, vous n'êtes pas un flocon de neige merveilleux, c'est comme si quelqu'un te racontait la même vanne chaque fois que tu rentre du boulot ! Secundo je trouve ça d'une indécence rare, avoir du respect pour un artiste, c'est avoir du respect pour son travail et sa vie privée, si le mec peut pas sortir de chez lui parce que à chaque date un attroupement se forme devant l'hôtel génial comme liberté pour le mec. Le top du manque de respect c'est quand même le "Ohh (déçu) c'est Peter" ... hey ... c'est peut être pas un membre officiel de DM mais c'est surement le musicien le plus doué du groupe (en tout cas le plus objectivement virtuose), juste pour montrer le coté retors de l'idolâtrie sans recul ... .... Alors j'ai un respect extraordinaire pour DM (et d'autres artistes) je me considère comme un véritable fan, et ce surtout parce que je crois être capable de prendre du recul sur ce qu'ils font, je ne suis pas automatiquement accro à leur moindre sortie, je ne les harcèlent pas devant leur hôtel (pacque leur tronche sur une photo à l'heure d'internet, ou un autographe qui ne signifie finalement pas grand chose sorti de son contexte, ou même discuter avec eux sans avoir quelque chose de pertinent à leur dire ça ne m'intéresse tellement pas ... ) ... bon voila ... j'attend les commentaire adultes et argumentés, les "oh ben laisse nous vivre hein si t'est pas content ferme ta gueule " vous les gardez pour vos gosses ! Bisous

Maxime Munier I understand what you said, but I don't think it's such a big deal that a famous person spends a couple of minutes with his fans if those are being respectful. Yeah doing it every day most certainly becomes boring for them, but a few minutes a day at their discretion (Martin refused to sign, which is ok) is a normal thing to do, IMO.
