Enjoy the Silence touches the deep down emotions of so many people from all walks of life that it still amazes me to this day.

@@nicoleyoung1190I also love Shake The Disease. All the more melodic mid-Depeche tracks. The songs carry huge emotional power.

I've been a fan for 43 years now. I was 10...a long time. I was lucky to meet Alan Wilder and Martin. No Dave or Fletch...after the Devotional Tour concert (2×) and Violator Tour (2×) they were a big part of my life. I knew one day I'll meet Martin. I wrote a letter to him and didn't send it. My brother found it and laughed at me saying that I'll never meet them. We'll dreams written happen. Great channel..cheers brother!! Oh DM rules!!!

Just writing it down almost made it possible within itself! (Love in itself). Also thanks re: the channel. I don’t have much time between work & family to do it so it means a lot to hear that. I met Martin and Dave briefly before the MM O2 show recently. Everything I expected - lovely guys. And I could see that positive interaction with others backstage too. Also met Daniel Miller there. No DM without him!

@erndog64 Lucky u! They came to Chicago twice, and I missed them both times and didn't have the money! If they ever come again, I am going! It is awesome that u meet them. I absolutely love them so. My favorite band of all times! ❤️💯

@nicoleyoung1190 mine too...I always have music for the bad times. I never thought positive energy could do that. I was a non believer in it.....well..no more.

@PianoDanny Dave was going through his battle with heroine. Seeing the changes in him worried me. From Violator to Devotional was big. Fletch was a no show too. They had a good friend in San Francisco..Steve Masters. Strange, Steve and I have the same birthday..everything is connected. He's a radio and video dj...but I'm so glad that you reach out to fans. I'm actually learning DAW. I was learning how to play this song. I saw it as a mountain of learning, but I cut the learning curve by watching tutorials. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

@PianoDanny I can't remember if it was after INXS' Michael Hutchison death? I saw them too before his death. Another band...maybe that was weighing on him?
