To some artists its not worth pouring so much time into a piece if it means nothing to them personally; if we can create a story in mind while painting/drawing, it helps us give meaning and life to the art making our time and hard work worth it. Art that makes you think; where is she? what's she thinking? is she a dragon? is that pen magical? Who knows, its up to the viewer's interpretation. :)

It is rare to find painting processes in which they show how they make the lineart of the environment, especially with perspective, especially with interior design! I almost always find landscape drawings but not this. It has been amazing to watch!

Very nice work. Was real nice to watch it from start to end. I usually draw stuff that's brighter and i have trouble figuring out how to color darker stuff. I would start with some bright flats, then i'd be confused how to make it look genuinely darker. i'd try some overlays, then paint over or around them and it would look bad. Think i need to rework approach a bit. I've kinda reached a point where i can draw well enough to be satisfied with but it's these software tricks that are hard to wrap my mind around...
