Encouraged that Neuron place such high regard on not only the Hashgraph tech, but also the Hedera governing council.

I can envision an Hedera shard of nodes running on drones where they would spread and readjust position to keep themselves decentralized geographically but also reduce latency in remote locations as needed. Disconnecting and reconnecting drone nodes with a spider weaving network would be pretty cool to see.

What a fantastic project! Its exciting to see Hedera being able to help get projects like this up and running, as they stated it couldnt be done with higher fees and high latency. Its projects like this that will enrich all our lives. It gives me just as much a buzz seeing Hedera grow as it does to know we're being part of real world solutions that ultimately provide better customer outcomes.

It is mind boggling that this is getting over looked. Hbar has crazy potential, what they are trying to do looks very disruptive. I still can't understand how this is getting over looked especially at .23 cents.

What an incredible project and use case. Hedera Hashgraph just blows my mind. I'm gonna sell my neighbours house and invest the proceeds into HBAR. Wait for me.

To list ETH's "Average Transaction Fee" as less than $3 is extremely outdated data. Maybe in 2018 it was less than $3 -- today the average is somewhere between $8 and $80; probably around $40...... PER transaction. Hedera is $.0001 per consensus service transaction, and no more than $1 for any kind of transaction.

DJI already solved this problem. They use LIDAR . Same radars used in Teslas and they are getting more sofisicated and smaller in size. I been in aerospace for 15 years and everything spoken about in this video, has already been done. GPS systems and varioius radar and radio systems already solve the "Beyond line of sight" and anti collision concerns.
@Supremax673 жыл бұрын
And much you say relies on a centralized database which can be corrupted or falsely reporting. You are also forgetting flight paths which cannot safely be coordinated today between different companies. A decentralized solution is the only way to go. Besides, you are promoting a product that cost as much as $20k per drone. Most average user wouldn't spend that much for a drone and you would have hard time to convince them otherwise. LiDAR is also unable to measure distance through heavy rain, snow, and fog. + GPS are not 100% reliable.
@wizard73143 жыл бұрын
Spoken like a cashed-up US operative. If you want a promotion you'll have to start thinking about cheap ways to get the same thing done, buddy. Civil installations of sensor networks are not comparable with infinite-money war equipment.
@JamesDunthorne3 жыл бұрын
Most LiDAR units weigh in excess of 1kg, cost £30k, use over 10W of power, and have a range of 150m maximum. I used to use them for surveying, and have friends in Topcon and Leica, so not speaking as a novice. DJI do not have LiDAR units on their drones for this purpose and i don't believe this has been "solved". Otherwise, why can DJI drones not fly beyond visual line of sight already? Genuine question. DJI use vision based systems. My PhD research looked at vision based systems, and found them to be lacking. Pixels are not small enough to detect aircraft at ranges of 2-5km. They are only adequate for short range obstacle avoidance which is what they are designed for and advertised as Radar is a similar story. Heavy, expensive and power hungry. Only suitable for very large drones, but is effective. A large drone in the UK just used ATAS to do a beyond visual line of sight flight. The drone costs over £20million so isn't going to get mass adoption What we are putting together here is a cheap, lightweight, low power solution which can cater for the mass market. Not for the fringes of the market with huge 20 tonne drones doing sorties between countries. However we do think they will still use our services. The network is distributed for various reasons, some of which i identified in this video We agree, the technology is all there to solve the problem. This isn't a technology problem. Its a political and economic problem which DLT helps solve. It needs distributed governance, and an incentivisation mechanism so that sensors can be deployed at scale. This is what we are building. But thanks for your comments
