The quality is exactly on par with OEM too for the actual feel of it when you open it up it's like an alloy feeling heavy duty material like the OE before it went plastic

It’s very close to oem quality. And if you compare it to a set a headlights the have been on the car, they are very durable. I’ve opened up and worked on these headlights countless times before installs. Never had a tab or anything break.

Hey man so I just installed my depo halo’s today and they look great but one question. How do I put my led high and low beam bulbs that was in my last headlights in those instead of keeping the ones that with them in? Thanks.

Just remove them from your old headlights and install into the new ones. They should be the exact same.

So I’m completely at a loss with my depo headlights. My LEDs look like a regular halogen color and not the bright white as I thought they would? I wasn’t supplied a harness with my headlights or instruction what so ever. Any ideas?

Is there a way to power the halos from the park lights so I could turn all the front light of from the LCM while the engine is still running?

Yes. You just have to find the signal wire to do it. It might be in the fuse box. I’m not sure where it would be located

Is there any specific suggestion on where to put the red wire in that fuse box to make the halos on when the key is at "ON" position not "ACC"? I'm not expert in using voltmeter btw it's always confusing

Just try until you find one. It won’t hurt it to go from slot to slot, testing them.

Those red cables you had already ran, did you buy them separately or they came with headlights? Also when splicing to the foot lights the headlight cable goes only on the positive bmw cable right?

Put the constant power to constant. Ground to ground. Then the signal wire to the fog like positive. Wires never even have to leave the engine bay.

I believe they are just a h7. The depo set comes with good bulbs and don’t need to be swapped out unless you’re wanting to do led or something.

The rubber grommet in the firewall do I have to removed the carpet in order to get that wire or does it lead into the glove box? Thanks!

Normally the grommet is just above the carpet. Remove the bottom part of the glove box to see it better.

What’s up ? I got a 325i 2002 and I have depo e46 HL angel eyes h7. I connected positive and negative and connected the angel eyes positive and negative but for some reason they don’t power on. Any ideas or suggestions.

Hey Brother, i bought these with the for my 2002 m3. I have questions on 1. Whether to use the existing original ballasts or are ballasts are obsolete? (The kit i bought were for xenon) 2. the ballasts are wired to the igniter for the original headlights and the DEPO does not have an igniter that matches the configuration. 3. the wiring harness that you show we only get to see you hook One out of Five ends of wire. we dont get to see you connect anything..... but the power constant. Can you please help me or us with more? I wouldn't ask if i thought you couldn't do it. As always big fan!!!

I’ve never had to look into the plugs beyond just plugging them in. And I’ve never pulled. Xenon’s to swap to depo. So I really don’t know what compatibility issues would exist.

did you remove your siren? When you locked and unlocked the car it usally beeps but yours didnt?

You know, most the bmws I’ve owned do have a lock beep. Out of probably 16 bmws only 1 has done it. It was my 5 series. I’m not sure what exactly the reason. My wife’s 2014 3 series doesn’t make noise, but my parents 2014 x3 does. Not sure! But I did not remove it.

They only chime when the factory alarm is installed. It's simply keyless entry otherwise. My E46 and F30 don't chime during lock/unlock but my F25 does. BMW is goofy like that.

I ran 1 wire to the interior footwell light on the passenger side and the other wire that runs the relay to the fuse box.

Hey man, i did the same thing as you with the wiring. I connected one to the footwell light and the other on fuse 13 (empty slot cabrio only) everything works fine except when i set de lightswitch to “auto” the angel eyes, radio and the cluster lights keep running while the key already out the contact… so everytime i have to set the switch to the “0” stand to put everything off.. you know maybe why this happens?

Sounds like you’re back feeding the power? I’m not sure why it would do that unless the relay in the harness isn’t working properly

The odd thing is, that it happens only when te lightswitch is on “auto” so it means still have power even if the key is removed. Also the clusterlights and the radio

But i also connected the angel eyes on the “parking lights” so they turn on when the lightswitch is on parking lights also even if the key is not in

Electrical can be easy and complicated at the same unfortunately! You’re best bet is to try to wire the power slightly different. Maybe try swapping the wires and see what happens

One should click the relay when turned on and the other one will be silent. The click is ignition and silent is interior lights
