well do as you wish...First rule of thumb in building a car properly "TNC" Take no chances. If there is a possibility, it's a chance you shouldn't take. At least put a fire suppression system in it.

I've been doing a similar (less effort) experiment with RP for a few years now, but I wanted to see if it would keep an engine clean. This was also my first experience with 0W-20 engine oil...I thought that viscosity was a typo at first. Got a brand new Murano (VQ35/V-6) for my wife in 2020, only five miles on the clock. The engine hasn't had the greatest life as it idles in the school car line a lot, operates frequently in hot Texas summers, and even gets to deal with some freezing temperatures. 4.5 years and 64k miles later, the top of the engine still looks clean and new. Admittedly, I'm just taking off the oil cap and sticking a camera in there, not pulling one of the valve covers. No performance issues, smoke, chain rattles, or any other engine problems so far with 5k OCIs.

So I saw this video about a week ago and was already looking for something similar to correct/clean-up a DBW pedal signal in a LS3-swapped BMW e46 that's been throwing p2138 codes for the pedal sender D/E correlation voltage. I checked it out on Amazon, and one of the features clearly calls out "Enhanced Signal Quality". I pulled the trigger. It arrived in short order and was pretty easy to install. It also appears true-to-it's word: Nonstop p2138 codes (where the pedal stops responding) appear to have been corrected! Thanks for the tip!

You ever thought about removing the hood and place go pro in different locations under the hood. Hammer down then go back and check the footage? I found a coolant leak that way. Just a thought.

This engine is good ..I put 260k miles on my 528 and still no issues

0-60 mph in 4.8 sec for the S54 3.2 L. vs 0-60 mph in 6.1 sec m54 3.0L easier maintenance and better daily driver.

I used Royal Purple for 15 years, and drove my car like a criminal in that time---constant weekly red lines. When the engine was opened, there was zero gunk anywhere inside the engine. The cross-hatches in the cylinder walls were still very visible. And I used the regular RP you get on the shelf of Walmart which are non-HPS or non-HPR versions. My conclusion about Royal Purple is that if you use it in an unhealthy engine, it will magnify the problems of that engine in ways that may give you concern. This is oil meant for a healthy engine. However, If you use RP in a very healthy engine, it will not only extend the life of the engine but make the engine more efficient and capable of making more horsepower without breaking a sweat. Royal Purple is an either or engine oil. It is the king of oils for me. Mercedes 229.5 engine oil and Mobil 1 EP are the next best oils I have discovered. Mercedes 229.5, which is a 5W-40 oil, oil in particular, is an outstanding brand of oil too.For conventional oils, Castrol GTX is king---excellent oil.
