DEPO vs TYC

Mi experiencia con ambas marcas en un Ford Fiesta 2004 (MK5) es que el DEPO tarda más en ponerse amarillo y al TYC se le mete el agua por lo que hay que sellarlos.

Compre una calaveras depot para chevy monza y no quedaron en la forma original, se tuvieron que adaptar y hacer nuevos agujeros para fijarlos. De alli en fuera no le veo mayor problemas, vamos a ver cuanto duran en opacarse

En iluminación se ve que DEPO es superior, ya que tiene una luz muy concentrada y tiene su respectivo corte de luz, eso hace que los demás conductores no se vayan a deslumbrar.

Both are shit. I just fitted TYC. Headlight are very important. Buy OEM or at least Hella. Made in China crap.

Tyc does not fit & cheap. Depo lights do... maybe if they put their heads together they could have a better idea

if you look at the depo (stop at) 3:21 you can see that the focus of the light is very centered. that means that you will be able to acutally see when its dark outside. if you look at the tyc (stop at) 3:34 you can see the light is more spread and that means that you can maybe blind ongoing drivers and that you also wont be able to see in the dark as good as the depo headlights i would say depo is the winner on that one :)

According to your statement then HIDS are no good because they spread the light from side to side very good. TYC has a better cutoff above the light (horizontally). That's where the DEPO messes up at and can dazzle you.

tyc is shown first depo is the second light so your remarks should be reversed making tyc the better one.

Wrong. Projector headlight should not focus the light into one hotspot (like reflector headlights do), but rather spread the light out. That is the point of the projectors...

..tive um Fiat brava no Brasil que tive q substituir o par. Fui de DEPO e fiquei muito satisfeito.. apesar de não ter testado o TYC , só ter lido reviews e relatos.. tive o Brava ainda por mais 1 ano e estava ótimo quando vendi. Sul do Brasil, frio e calor do litoral.

I recently installed TYC for my Megane II. They look amazing with the original standard light, but they look beyond awesome with the LED lights.

Ninguna de las dos me gustan, me acabo de gastar $800 dólares en un par de faros delanteros para Volkswagen G5 de la marca ARTEB. Hace 5 años compré un mar de faros traseros de esa marca Arteb y aún conservan el brillo y lucen como nuevos, no se han puesto amarillos como otras marcas, por eso decidi mandar a importar esa marca Arteb. Es cara y buena 👍

Arteb: Te vale 3 veces más que depo. Llevo 5 años con un par de faros traseros Volkswagen G5 y aún se conserva como nuevo inclusive el brillo aún lo tiene. Hasta la fecha no se han puesto amarillos.

Both make shit light paterns. For the front headlight only buy OEM. For the rear, you can buy aftermarket shit, if you don't care about your car.

The best is to restore the original headlights or to buy new originals. Depo and Tyc are both bad! I bought a TYC Headlight for a Golf IV, the fog light is wrong adjusted, it does not fit right (1cm gaps) and the quality is really bad. Never again!

I never had a problem with tyc headlamps or side marker. Bright a clear 1998 gmc k1500 pickup and 1998 saturn sl TYC is the best in my opinion

ZiLoX in this case, the light pattern looks better on the TYC. Notice the dark area on the middle bottom area on the Depo.
