How do you change the DB value if say you want to use a declining balance rate of 20%?
@joseportillo1023 Жыл бұрын
you might consider this a late reply but, itll depend on the values you have set on the SL method. in this case 15k (15k depreciation /75k depreciable value = 20%) is 40% under DB since (20% *2). another way to have DB set to 20% you could set the DB value down by half, in this case 100. i think doing it through SL keeps things more consistent.

hello, where is the video on Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System that you refer to at the end of this video?
@RonaldMoy9 жыл бұрын
+Paul Powers I don't think you can do it on the calculator. I discuss it in another video where I demonstrate it in Excel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6jOYZSNrMmopbs

Hello! how do you use depreciation mixed with NPV analysis?
@RonaldMoy7 жыл бұрын
Depreciation affects NPV because it affects cash flow. Even though depreciation is a noncash expense, it does affect taxes, which affect cash flow.
