Are you happy?
Steven was losing hope. His wife passed away, he retired and had nothing to do, his son didn’t speak to him… And now, his health gave out, too. Lying in the hospital bed, Steven refused to take medication. He shunned away the doctors who tried to help him and screamed at everyone who showed him care. But soon, a new patient came in. He shared a room with Steven and was nothing like him - cheerful and happy. The guy took it upon himself to fill Steven’s life with joy.

"...Life outside the window is too interesting to miss." Mathew Taylor teaches this life lesson to Steve Foreman, played by the great Ihor Ciszkewycz. Mathew is play by Billy Holly, a marvelous fellow and great actor. This is a repeat, but new to this flagship channel. It is so full of learning to cherish and live life and like Billy Holly, Matthew lives every minute of it in joy and fun. That Istan Rozumny and Tania Lav are in this episode made it even more special to me. The cherry on top is the cameo Yaroslav Shinder played as Steve's son. Yaroslav is the same age as my son. I guess that make me biased about his performances. I have enjoyed his performances from day one. Thank you for this episode with a very meaningful life lesson for all of us. This is truly a Special. Well Done!

The fact that I'm able to walk and see the world. Hear the beautiful sounds and speak my thoughts. I'm forever grateful for these among many others. Whenever life gets hard l remind myself someone out there has it even more harder and still survive. Having a roof above my head, food to eat and clean water to drink is all I'd ask for. This film kinda reminds me of the movie THE BUCKET LIST.

Beautifully done. When I was a teenager, I heard a version of this story in which the man with the view of the window was a nursing home resident in a large room, and he described children playing outside to cheer the other residents up. As with this version, it turned out there was nothing visible out the window but a wall, and the man had been making up the children and their adventures just to give his friends something to look forward to. Unfortunately, in my case, the storyteller had a religious agenda and spun the story to encourage a more spiritual outlook on life, looking beyond the wall, as it were, and his way of ending it came off as hollow and missed the point. DramatizeMe's ending was wonderful. You don't have to be spiritual or religious to give someone a reason to keep on living.

I personally am not a happy person, and I don't have a reason to live either. Yet I've realized that, you don't need a reason to live to just keep on going, your life aint permanent, and you only get one chance at it, so ending your life just because you dont have a reason to live aint worth it. If you really don't have a reason to live, thats fine, you can either live life just to be here and make the most of it without needing a specific reason, or you can find your own reason to live.
