I suffer from severe depression and anxiety so I know all to well how hard it can be to get up and do something. This year I have decided to start decluttering my house and I have find so far that it has lightened my mood. I find myself wanting to do more. I’m just coming out of quarantine for Covid and yesterday I couldn’t stand seeing my kitchen dirty so I got up and cleaned but it does take time. People don’t realize that depression and anxiety are illnesses and they can take a toll on a person body. So, don’t put yourself down cuz you needed a break.

Jessica you are so right. There is so much science behind how cleaning and tidying your home can help relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety and yet it can be nearly impossible to start. I am so grateful for services that offer cleaning to people who are suffering or even just friends and family who have helped me out in the past. Amazing work getting your kitchen together. I’m so sorry for your loss of your furbaby, it’s devastating, lost 2 cats that had to be put to sleep in last 6 Mths. It never gets easier. I use a non electric tart warmer and use Unscented tea lights and go to Walmart and buy the better homes & gardens wax melts & also buy there the Scentsationals wax melts there. Way better smell than big jars and they are inexpensive. Plus sometimes they go 75 percent off on clearance at Walmart. Our animals are everything, talk to them still, they are always by your side xoxo, love the Tidy Two!!!👏👏👏❤️

I am really enjoying your channel and your cleaning videos. I am so sorry for the recent loss you have suffered. My very best wishes on the growth of your channel. I personally enjoy the videos where you volunteer to clean someones messy house. There are so many families and seniors who for many reasons cannot clean their house on their own, and cannot afford to pay an agency. However, I find it very hard to accept and refuse to watch messes that are made on purpose. I just don't understand why waste time on making a mess and cleaning it up when life itself provides so many naturally occurring opportunities to clean up. If there are no dirty places to clean in your home, I am sure there are plenty of homes in your community where people are desperate and would be so grateful for your help. Nothing personal, just my opinion,

I am just coming out of yet another cycle of depression. Im so embarrassed about how disgusting my house and car got but i just felt so horrible and exhausted until now that everytime i started cleaning i had to stop. Im just powering through it and im so tired but if i dont finally clean now, my landlord will deff kick me out. at least my place is better than how my last apartment looked when i was depressed. It’s surprising how depression can control and decimate everything fun and happy in your life. 😢 be strong everyone we got this!!!!

My downstairs scent is apple cinnamon and upstairs is lavender and chamomile.

Love love love those. I get the vibe that the warm cinnamon scent is meant to be “welcoming” and lavender and chamomile are upstairs because of bedrooms and relaxing. :)
