Basically he was influenced by the Jamaican culture growing up and gravitated towards it, adopting the culture for his identity and how he chooses to live his life. I respect him for being how he wants to be, it makes him comfortable and happy, and ultimately he’s not hurting anyone. The need to be chill and sleep is not necessarily depression. If you have ADHD or ADD, you get easily overwhelmed with all the distractions around and need to replenish by spending time in quiet environment. Thats how it works for me anyway.

Massive Love for Mdot. I really enjoyed this podcast interview. I’ve followed mdot for a while now. Music and his cooking videos. Especially the ones in Jamaica. I do like some of his music and I like his cooking but for me, I love his personality. He really seems like a nice bloke and he has a lot of passion for music, food, Jamaica and life.
