I met Tommy a few weeks ago in a petrol garage. Please believe me i had not a clue who he was. It was early in the morning i was putting diesel in my van and i ask him and his friend if they would mind helping me unlock the petrol tank. Omg we had a little laugh n chat but i promise i didnt have a clue who he was. As this lovely guy pulled off in his car he said its okay ive paid for your petrol !!!!! How kind and nice was that. Ive actually thought about how kind that was of him everyday since. Take it from me Tommy Mallet is a true gentleman and i wish him and his family health and the best in life. I hope our paths cross again cause he is such a nice young man and i know a good person when i meet one.

Tommy, i don't know if you will see this, but thank you for opening my eyes and giving me my own lightbulb moment on the reason i have felt the same way as you my whole life. I am now sure the answer is ADHD. James, thank you for your brilliant podcast and brining on guests like Tommy with important and relatable stories such as this one.

this episode really deeply hit home for me, i have a recent bipolar diagnosis aged 28 and finally can see a finish line. i always thought i would end up in a psychiatric ward. the amount of relateable things that both tommy and james spoke about emotion wise is me to a tee. i am not alone and if your reading this, neither are you.

Its like listening to myself. I thought i was gonna lose the plot. Symptoms were mad crazy. Diagnosed snd medicated and changed my life. I always knew but thought a diagnosis would be pointless. My son is severe adhd/asd. Doctor saw me for 90 minutes. Severe combined type. Detrimental effect on every aspect of my life. Offending. Care system. Prison. Addictions. So pleased you did it now. I wish i had did it 20 years ago. Im 50 now. Diagnosed 2021. I had conduct disorder too. Lifes so different now. Always knew i was different. Keep going Tommy. Wish you well The drugs. Can sooo resonate

Personally, in my opinion, I think the message is clear here. That is money really doesn't bring happiness, it helps, but your health happiness and those you love are the riches thing in life you will ever own. Amazing podcast James. I have always said from day one Tommy was on TOWIE he was one nice genuine young man. He is a very wise person. I wish him every happiness and success for his future, and I am so pleased to hear he is finding himself for the amazing person he is. Best of luck to you both. You're a good bloke, too, James.

Jeezo I’ve just been diagnosed at 45 with adhd. So similar to this guy. Do multiple things and have had multiple businesses, some good, some not so good, think way in advance about random shit, temper from zero to 100 In the blink of an eye and very additive personality but always refuse to “give in”. I got told about 10 years ago from a few people but refused to seek help. Glad I finally caved and seen a professional. Great listen this boys 👍🏻

I have nearly been to where Tommy been after my misses had our prem baby 18 months ago at 26 weeks and nearly died on week two and had a rough first 1st year , we was in hospital for 27 weeks and I've seen what families go through whilst in hospitals similar to Tommy's and wifes trauma when they lose a child the pain is like nothing you every go through unless it happens to you . I totally get his ADHD mindset . Think he nailed this interview . He couldn't speak more truth.

Tommy nailed it.. great interview. I can resonate on so many levels.. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 47 and my brain has been my biggest battle my entire life. I too lost a child when I was 22 and I’ve struggled to navigate the emotional trauma until I was diagnosed. Medication has been life changing for calming the brain and finding wisdom. I no longer have to take the medication after a year and a half and the skills of learnt to navigate my emotions and the realisation that with trauma comes great wisdom and strength. I no longer feel self conscious of being different.. as Tommy said ADHD can be a gift. Perspective is everything. Also we are all on a journey and our mindset can shift at any time.. it’s ok for Tommy to come back in 3 years time and have a different perspective as he navigates his growth. The real gift is awareness, which leads to compassion for others. To realise your struggles and trauma can heal others is priceless ❤

I like many knew you and Georgia from Towie. Unlike others who have different media avenues since Towie you 2 are the only ogs I still love and follow. Both you and Georgia being so down to earth and honest still makes you both so lovable. I've 2 sons 🎉with adhd and totally understand how you felt after finding out you had adhd and again after starting meditation. (My sons went from crazy mad boys to understanding others with emotions loving boys after meds and support since knowing of adhd. Keep being you Tommy and as a couple remember Tommy and Georgia your 100% couple goals. I'm 45 today and wish I'd found what you Tommy and Georgia have found already xx
