Well done, very thorough and straight to the point, I know this video was made less than a year ago(9 months) but since you asked if there was a sale in any other countries I'm here to let you all know if you are in Canada, Amazon sells these lovely rotary tools for $55 Canadian, I just got ming and I must admit it looks very well made, there's nothing cheap looking on this tool, I'd say "a refined tool and lots of power", fits well in my smallish hand , so far I am very impressed with fit and finish/power, and the extras .

Like it. That would be perfect for jewellery work especially when you don't need that cable in your way 😊

Thanks for the video. It helped me settle on this one as my first rotary tool for some IoT projects.

Thanks for such a useful and comprehensive review - you convinced me to pull the trigger on this model rotary tool. It's rare to see a reviewer go into the necessary detail to educate DIYers how to use a particular tool - your review did that perfectly.

Many thanks for the comment, I’m still using it today. As I say for the price, I think it’s fantastic.

Can I cut plaster board with this??
@PhilipHollowaychannel10 күн бұрын
You can but if you doing a lot of professional cutting there are more powerful tools to do the job quicker. I would recommend getting a Drywall Spiral cutting bit (560-3) if you use this tool

@@PhilipHollowaychannel thanks for reply. So I can do all my cuts with this. I’m sick of using a Stanley knife to do all my cuts. Feel I need something else
@PhilipHollowaychannel9 күн бұрын
@@elitegroup7461yes you can but if your doing it every day I would get a dedicated drywall cutter. If your just doing it as as a diyer then this will work perfectly

I noticed a nice big chart on Amazon (USA website) that shows each attachment, it's name, and what it is used for. That was one big reason that got me interested in this particular brand of cordless rotary tool in the first place.

Why doesn't the depstech rotary tool have a plug for charging?
@PhilipHollowaychannel Жыл бұрын
I don’t really know anyone that doesn’t have a USB charging port nowadays. Personally, I’m glad it doesn’t come with one as it would only go in the bin anyway. I hope this doesn’t cause you any problems, but I will remember to mention this in future of reviews of tools. Thanks for the comment. Duly noted.

@@PhilipHollowaychannel I was wondering if rotary tools can cut thin rubber as well as braided steel cables?
@PhilipHollowaychannel Жыл бұрын
The thin rubber would not be a problem but steel wire depends on thickness and the hardness of the wire. It might be worthwhile investing in some Dremel quick fix cutting discs as these would last longer than the thin, cutting discs.
