You can but if you doing a lot of professional cutting there are more powerful tools to do the job quicker. I would recommend getting a Drywall Spiral cutting bit (560-3) if you use this tool

Ive been looking for something just like this for a while, but i need it to not drop below the belt line. I have 4 screws in my back and can't wear a tool belt. As a renovation contractor i need mobility to bend over, get in an attic, crawlspaces, tear out floors walls and so on. Does this thing here drop below the belt line or does it stay higher?
@PhilipHollowaychannel10 күн бұрын
That really depends on how tall you are. I’m 5 foot six and it’s below my belt line, but it’s the most comfortable apron I’ve owned and I still use this every time I’m in the workshop.

Hi thanks for the vid! Is there any way to change the Hertz setting of the pump? My current one has packed in and I always ran it on 1.4hz (the lowest setting). I was wondering what that equates so in terms of ‘P’ settings?

Sorry I can’t help you with that. I mostly leave mine on P1 unless it’s really cold

Well done, very thorough and straight to the point, I know this video was made less than a year ago(9 months) but since you asked if there was a sale in any other countries I'm here to let you all know if you are in Canada, Amazon sells these lovely rotary tools for $55 Canadian, I just got ming and I must admit it looks very well made, there's nothing cheap looking on this tool, I'd say "a refined tool and lots of power", fits well in my smallish hand , so far I am very impressed with fit and finish/power, and the extras .

Have a look on page 30. You can set the start time and stop time. This is relative to the time you are at now. So if it is 10 o’clock in the morning and you want the heaters to start at 6 pm and stop at 8 pm, you would set the start time at eight hours and then you would set the stop time at two hours. Give us a try let me know if it helps.

The makita drill bits that come with this gun are absolutely atrocious. I got this model 6 months ago and have went through all 3 makita drill bits that come with the gun. In comparison with the dfr550 one drill bit would last me a year and change. I do go through about 500 to 600 screws a day which should be light work for this gun that costs just shy of £300. Its shocking. It may be lighter than the previous modle and has new features like a trigger lock and push drive (which is terrible) but the hook that is on the 551 is not sufficient at all it has slipped out of my belt and on to the floor a few times, but in doing so can break off the plastic guide that the screws feed through just under the nose cone and ive seen this happen and it is damn impossible to screw back on im not sure how the factory are able to assemble in the fist place. All in all save your money and buy the dfr550 it my not be brushless but its an all round better tool.

i think Makita missed a trick as it would be good if this could charge batteries while connected to the mains?
@PhilipHollowaychannel3 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the heat from the light when it’s on full power as this would possibly be too hot for batteries to charge, as charges generally have a fan to call the batteries down whilst charging and they’re also not in cased
