Bheki Cele is not boring love, he is not interested and doesn't give a damn, he is rich, they all benifitted during economy collapse of Gupta conquered saga. That ANC don't give a jack whether SA go west or north. They are not soldiers of struggle. If they were they would have seen this coming from millions miles away and prevented it. Let me tell you something, in that parliament only few very, very soldiers left are called. Many of them are invited and others granted, it depends on the side you coming from. My fellow SAns please, please, please pray for your souls, your families, your fellow country people and our leaders and government. Just give it to God Almighty and don't fight anymore but defend when attacked. And when you fight don't to leave God behind you. Put God before you and let Holy Spirit guide you Mzantsis for us, and parents, great parents who made it possible to get our liberation. That's the promise our God knows us SA. He is waiting for us his🌈 rainbow nation to go back to him. 😇God bless 🇿🇦🌞 They are waiting for you to complain so that they will accuse you of xenophobia. Shame the devil Mzantsis even though they will accuse anyway. God mighty heavenly father protect your people in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray amen. 😇🙏

Ntshumayelo Thank you very much for this scripture, I've been looking for it for so long and could not locate it. I've made reference to this scripture so many times regarding the situation in SA, If South African's do not wake up from their slumber they will soon regret. Wake up now or prepare yourself to live with the regret that is soon to follow. Stop this drinking, drugs, rape and get yourself educated. Only then will you claim back your dignity.

I'm all for this. My question is, how can we make this happen? What is the plan forward? I know some foreign nationals are here legally and doing the right thing. But places like Hillbrow, Boksburg and Benoni, among other places are taken over by corrupt foreign nationals. Can't we get a large convoy or sting operation of police and red ants to go evacuate illegal/hijacked buildings? Those who are there illegally must be sent back to their country or arrested on the spot.

MIriam Sijiyo I used to play squash in the Veterans league at the hillbrow squash centre every Thursday in 1994. In it’s time it was a world class facility. But by 1995 nobody wanted to play there anymore because of the crime, particularly at night. This problem has been developing for more than 20 years right under the nose of the Government who at the time when we complained, said it was just a mzungu attitude problem. Well it’s not a mzungu attitude problem anymore. I hope they sort it out because it’s a valuable area for people to reside.

In America its an immigrant discussion. In Europe, the yellow vests started a new awareness. In South Africa, we supposed to owe every other African nation the freedom to cross our borders, and while they at it just systematically take over our country. Its a complex problem , but when reduced to a situation where entry to our country has no proper background checks in place. In invariably becomes a criminal problem, love or hate it. Something our country simply cannot handle at this time , given our own challenges

His is talking rubbish - Hillbrow is not a city at all - it is rather a part of johannesburg of less that 1 km square . in almost all countries of great nations in the world , you will always fine a small place that belong to a certain community - like china town in news york , Matongue in belgium , chateau rouge en france . . . and in the case of hillbrow it is not like that at all - it is rather a melting pot of all nations living there - you will in hillbrow every african nation with indians , white and pakitanies - Hillbrow is actually a great model of integration , that need to be managed - because a flux of people need some how to be regulated and managed that is all - if your are incompetent , you will see it as an impossible task - but with a game plan it is a peace of cake . This guy is so small in his thinking - and i do not understand that a country like south africa be put in the hand of such person to be deputy minister of police .The guys is talking as if he is scared of the place and kind of justifying his failure to manage the place . South africa is a great country - if you are not up to the task resign .

@b chena Please, don't SCREAM at me. I agree, some of our policemen fail to do their job and some are indifferent. At this point SA is almost dysfunctional. Zimbabwe is a much more tightly controlled state with less illegal influx from foreign nationals. Zim is essentially a ZANU PF police state / military dictatorship, while South Africa strives to be a democracy, but fails to maintain order and civility due to social disparity and lack of economic development. So, it's a highly volatile democracy. SA is really a highly developed western country and a dysfunctional, disorganised third world country in one, which cause a lot of friction between the privileged few and the marginalised many. I think it's not so much the poverty that is the biggest issue here, but the fact that the highly impoverished people live next to wealthy people, which fuels the jealousy and envy and willingness to do crime among some. You really cannot compare SA to Zim 1 to 1, despite some similarities. Gauteng alone has higher population (if you include undocumented / unregistered people) than the entire Zimbabwe. People from all over Africa + Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh) migrate to SA, but they are not really integrated and accomodated. SA people in townships are unemployed, so some of them get jealous when they see a foreign person succeeding with their business. SA needs a clear immigration policy to address this. For example: they could say that every foreign owned business must employ a certain percentage of local people to get a business license.

It is so sad and disheartening to see black South Africans commit unspeakable atrocities against fellow black brothers in a country that has produced iconic freedom fighters and advocates for racial equality. To all South Africans that embrace and carry out any form of xenophobic attacks against black migrants, if you can read and understand English please find below the exact words and vision of great South African icons: Nelson Mandela; “During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.” Oliver Tambo; “The fight for freedom must go on until it is won; until our country is free and happy and peaceful as part of the community of man, we cannot rest. We have a vision of South Africa in which black and white shall live and work together as equals in conditions of peace and prosperity. We seek to create a united Democratic and non-racial society”. Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu; "My blood will nourish the tree that will bear the fruits of freedom. Tell my people I love them. They must continue to fight." Robert Sobukwe; “Here is a tree rooted in African soil, nourished with waters from the rivers of Afrika. Come and sit under its shade and become, with us, the leaves of the same branch and the branches of the same tree There is only one race, the human race”. Chris Hani; “What we need in South Africa is for egos to be suppressed in favour of peace. We need to create a new breed of South Africans who love their country and love everybody, irrespective of their colour”. Joe Slovo; “No matter what vision one has of South Africa, the first thing that must be done is to destroy racism.” Stephen Bantu Biko; “The basic tenet of black consciousness is that the black man must reject all value systems that seek to make him a foreigner in the country of his birth and reduce his basic human dignity.“ Ahmed Khathrada; “We have been blessed that under the collective leadership of the ANC we can proudly proclaim that ‘South Africa belongs to all who live in it, black and white’. We were mightily, and unexpectedly, blessed when the old, oppressive, undemocratic order succumbed and bowed to the inevitable”. Albert Lutuli; “I believe that here in South Africa, with all our diversities of colour and race; we will show the world a new pattern for democracy. There is a challenge for us to set a new example for all. Let us not side step this task.” It is however sad and shameful that through your xenophobic actions you have disrespected the loving memories of the aforementioned by turning away from the their visions of building one racial and xenophobic free South Africa. I can’t stop shading tears seeing how black South Africans brutally murder fellow black migrants because such sorrowful acts only confirms that the great Nelson Mandala in blessed memory might have won the fight against “white domination” but not against “black domination”. Because the DNA of apartheid white BOER runs in all Black South Africans who harbor or share any form of xenophobic ideologies.

The manner in which this crisis is dealt with is saddening indeed but you calling people out and calling then xenophobic and emotionally blackmailing them is only pouring a petrol on burning fire. Yes these attacks against these foreign groups weren't started by South Africans but the very same foreigners and definitely the retaliation by the South Africans is not justified either and they are going about it the wrong way. What I mean is that you need to understand the situation in Johannesburg right now better before you comment and start labelling it. Mentioned above is a city controlled by foreigners and which have been turned into a drug ground, thousands of South Africans get raped there, illegal weapons are being kept there , the city has become a ground where people can freely carry their illegal activities. Just last week, police legally invaded these areas with a search warrant to try to clean up. The police officers were attacked by the same foreigners and had to fall back, in American terms those foreigners became terrorists. This thing runs deeper than the media reports, pointing fingers and saying these people are xenophobic won't help, the attacks can stop now but they will come back later until the real issue is addressed and it's not xenophobia. I

@@gags-villsounds5351 Yes it is absolutely wrong and unacceptable for foreign national to come to south Africa and indulge in criminal activities that threatens or undermines the cultural values and lives of South African citizens. Furthermore, no body said South African citizens shouldn't control the wealth in your country or have economic freedom!!! rather u should understand what GLOBALISATION is all about. However if the result of globalisation tends to be dysfunctional in South Africa your government should take more rational and legal measures. Rather than using foreign migrants for weekly, monthly or yearly barbecue why not your government enact a massive deportation policy on illegal and undocumented migrants, arrest and jail those involved in criminal activities as enshrined in the south African constitution. If your countrymen feels foreign migrants are the cause of your economic problems then send them away with harsh immigration policy and job restrictions. Gruesomely Butchering foreigners and burning there properties is an act of terrorism. Lastly i reckon the wealth of south Africa is in the hands of the white minority and some few corrupt ANC elites. #stopthevolence

@@ekomudoh2144 look at the moment, we are not talking about any wealth and or globalisation. The centre of all this thing is crime not all these things people from a distance have assumed. I just don't have enough time to respond to you. I just explained how South Africa was terrorised few weeks back. South Africans were not happy with the situation but we didn't do anything about it, yes our government but the government of the terrorists didn't do anything either. Now, days later (an incident which triggered this attack), a Nigerian guy was selling drugs to school kids and a taxi driver tried to stop him, the Nigerian guy killed the taxi driver. Unfortunately, killing a taxi driver is waging war against taxi drivers and they ( taxi drivers ) took it to themselves to attend the terrorists and they are burning those buildings with illegal goods which police couldn't evade. That's where the attacks are happening, now you still think that's xenophobia. Yes they are not dealing with it the right way and our law enforcement is weak but then again would you expect people to shut up after all this. If RSA was America those terrorists could have gotten killed by police first day of terrorism. Now you all learn the situation before you suggest solutions.

@@gags-villsounds5351 I still find it surprising that you are trying to justify the wave of consistent atrocities against foreigners in your country. Please permit me to crave your indulgence, in 2013 or 2014 a young British soldier named Lee Rugby was brutally murdered outside his barrack in London by two Nigerian born British extremists. Does this means every other African in the UK is a terrorist??? ABSOLUTELY NO Irrespective of the outrage that this caused no Nigerian nor African was attacked or abused in any part of the UK. Today the both terrorist are spending the rest of there lives in prison where they belong. Also i presume you are aware of the Boston marathon bombings in the USA??? Such a sad and dispeakable act of terrorism didn't warrant US citizens to start burning or butchering foreigner migrants but rather the FBI and other sister security agencies took adequate and drastic response to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators. President Trump is bent on building a fence or wall to stop illegal migrants from entering the US via Mexico, he has also started a massive deportation program for undocumented foreign migrants but the fact is no one needs to Die. In Africa today, south Africa is rated amongst the top five best countries in military and security institutions. And if you are admitting that the south African police and military cannot deal with the criminal elements amongst foreign migrants then it's totally and outrightly a fault of your Government.

The Deputy Police Minister *does not seem to be very intelligent* and honest! Whom is he blaming for the destitute situation in the Johannesburg CBD? It's the authorities and the government that failed to secure the borders, deport illegal immigrants and maintain order. So, he essentially has to blame himself and the government that he represents. It's due to their incompetence and lack of activity that the situation escalated.

If a nation doesn't take these issues seriously then your kids will be led by Chinese and African brothers not South Africans. There's nothing xenophobic here, its a fact. As a Sierra Leonean citizen , whose country induced on itself an eleven year sub-human civil war in the 90s , with its still lingering traumatic effect caused by the barbaric scale with which it was fought ; I thought that no other society on the African continent can embody moral decay and embrace the normalization of very dangerous public insecurity like our Sierra Leonean society does , until the common display of the psychological grip on the minds of black people in South Africe for self destruction , made me realize how wrong I have been about my country. I have lived in the United States for 30+ years . Over time I have seen through other black people's experiences , including a few I have personally endured , from the actions / inactions of the slavery legacy's white supremacist preservers ; which made me wondered about , what destructive mindset could be so overwhelming , for some of our African ancestors to sell other Africans into slavery ? Now in my lifetime , I keep seeing the same trait of self-hate and self-destruction still being preserved by some Africans in Africa , especially in South Africa. The psychological grip on the minds of the majority of black people in South Africa is so etched , that it will likely take two generations for them , to completely wean themselves off this troubling existence. For their own good, I hope a patriotic, and real public serving leadership emerges sooner rather than later. Unlike the kleptocratic , murderous and xenophobia baiting ANC government , which has failed black people in South Africa divastatingly for 25 + years now. With living conditions for black South Africans, which are as dire as those experienced in the apartheid era . If not more dire . If they continue to make themselves venerable, to a point where white supremacists who still exist in the country , and other non-blacks will gain control of the political structure again, as they still do with that country's economy , black people in South Africa , will wish they were never born .

In every country, there is usually a concentration of foreigners in a particular township or city. In America you have China town and so also in the UK, certain town are predominantly African all mixed up. Some areas such as croyden is know as a melting pot because of the diverse ethnic group there. The question to always ask yourself is are these foreigners adding value to your economy and are they abiding by the required law. If they are not, deal with things according to the law and mot by senseless killing which is being justified by this foolish leader. All what he said here is total foolishness. These so called foreigners provided refuge for your black leaders during ypur Aphatied struggle, Nigeria played a major role in supporting and ensuring your struggle was successful. This is just foolishness of the highest order. This should not be encouraged.

Exactly! We need government policies that make sure that South Africans come first. But killing and looting foreigners / their shops is just criminal and it should never be accepted by any South African. Fact is: South Africa has many issues of inequality and disparity within itself. Truth is: we cannot really accomodate so many people coming from foreign countries, when we hardly manage to accomodate most of our own people. First we need to develop the country to a level where every citizen has at least a basic standard of living, then we can think about accomodating other poor people from outside. When people come from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Somalia to make business in SA, there needs to be a policy that they have to employ South African workers, otherwise most of the money is flowing right back to their home countries instead of going into circulation in the SA economy.

Hillbrow is not a city, rather a suburb of Johannesburg. Johannesburg is a city! Secondly, 80% of people in Hillbrow are not foreigners, if they were, the lunatic, barbaric burnings would not take place. Please chief put things in perspective. Foreigners, especially those from the continent are the most marginalized people. They have no power though, rather many live in fear for for their lives. I am questioning the intelligence of this man, due to speeches that he utters could incite hate. Leaders should learn to push for unity. Knowing well already the very high of xenophobia and Afrophobia, a man of such position should learn to weigh his words. In all major cities of the world, there are large numbers of foreigners, that's normal. Now if a high level police official has such opinion of foreigners, then no one should be surprised of the recent attacks on poor immigrant merchants. By burning and looting shops of foreigners, do you think that bring jobs to South Africa?

We can't continue talking about foreigner at low destiny that only take 5% of our economies while ignoring the minority wealthier foreigners who take over 80% of our economy. As much as I agree with ur statement Sir, let's start addressing the really threats to our land.

Khaya Maki no sir that's not what am saying. We can't invest all our resources on 5% of our problems while overlooking the 80%. We need to balance our intervention

What you miss marks is that 5% is an immediate threat which must be dealt with promptly. You know that the fight against white domination is a long one and as such, we ignore the 5%, once we open our eyes the damage would close irreparable just like it is the case with white domination.

@@lesegontho4494 the big picture is we are all foreigners in this world. What matters most is love, the love for one another. Instead let's find out why they move and find ways to help. What would Jesus do in situation like this?
