What? Riding the Limes on English Saddles and not authentic Roman style ones? Not even wearing full armor either? I was a member of the original team with Dr. Marcus Junkelmann, and we rode the ENTIRE Limes from the North Sea to the Danube, in full armor with original 4 horned, Roman saddles over twenty years before this! We slept every night in a Roman leather tend along the way and only ate Roman food, even grinding the grain on millstones to make our bread and porridge. We even made it into National Geographic magazine. These guys are just posers!

Read your message, would still like subtitles. I lived along the Limes in the Taunus. I did not know it was possible to travel the Limes from one end to the other. A lot has changed. I saw a bit of it, with a reconstructed mile-castle. Seemed like it would have been hard to follow due to obstacles. How can I find the story of your amazing journey?
