We want to show that even Christians can do crazy things like demo derby and racing and still spread the messages of the bible. And that it’s also cool to be a Christian. This concept has taken off and we have been blessed with a lot of support. Much more to come!

If I had gone there I'd want my money back. It seems to be really easy to make Americans happy. After just fast clicking through this boredom I will now watch a proper British or Dutch banger racing video to see how cars are properly destroyed.

This was a fun concept, but could for sure use improvement. I appreciate at least they are went out on a limb to try and do something else at a derby to entertain

@@All4HimRacingVideos From a European point of view nearly everything in the US unfortunately seem boring. The British, Belgian and Dutch banger racing is way more entertaining because it is much harder than US derbies. I live in Germany, 30 minutes from the Dutch border, so have especially easy access to these events. The British car jumps use ramps that bring a car into the air enough to clear 6 to 8 cars, depending on inrun length. Also on rollover competitons in UK and Netherlands they use a parabolic ramp that usually is good for one barrel roll in the air and another 2 to 3 on the ground. Both in the US seem to be "professional equipment" for shows performed by stuntmen only. No matter if it is destruction derby, rollover, jump or freestyle. You don't need new ideas in America, you need more speed and action while performing the existing ones. Look for "Emmen Blue Oyster Trophy", "Angmering car jump" or "Warneton ramp rollover" here on KZbin to see what I mean.

@@MirkoC407 From an American point of view Banger racing is super dangerous. Those hits those cars take over there are insane, even more so that the whole theme of Banger Racing is to take cars at the end of their lives and trash them. There's reason's we try to limit the speed to less than 30 mph and that's mainly due to safety reasons. The whole point of demo derbys here is to have fun and compete on which car can survive the longest. But that doesn't mean we don't have stuff similar to you guys over there. We do events that you guys over there do, we just more focus on making sure the drivers and possibly spectators (depending on the track) don't end up with an Emergency Room visit. Plus my family used to do demo derbys so it's something you more grow in to when you've been around it a lot

@@speedy7892 And when I was a kid 35 years ago, in Germany including the village I lived, there was banger racing as well. So probably yes - it is what you grow in. While my father "only" took care of money issues at the track (he was manager of the local bank branch) somehow half the village was involved. And several people I knew were racing. Neighbours, parents of my friends, etc. It always was a full day event with a lot of fun for the participants and spectators. With most cars participating in up to 3 heats, and usually 3 classes plus a limited contact junior race for kids aged 12 or older there were a total of 8 races on that day. So what you see on KZbin is a "best of" mostly of the last heat. 1. quite a normal race, except hits are allowed. But it is for a certain number of laps and you build a base of points for the second one by completing laps. Each lap is worth 5 points usually. Of course hits are allowed and a driver might want to spin an opponent because it is difficult to complete a lap with the car pointing the wrong direction or lying upside down. So the more you disturb other drivers the more points ahead you will finish this heat. Usually no severe crashes though, except someone spins out directly into the barriers due to unlucky circumstances. Run in 3 different power classes. Usually determined by displacement. 2. a points race for action. Now the race is over a set period of time. Still completed laps earn you a few points, but you earn more points for spinning a car for more than 90 degrees, so it is pointing more against than with direction of driving. And you earn a hell lot more points for flipping another car on its roof. Same classes as before apply. Here it may be if someone will notice that his car is close to a breakdown, that he will place a terminal hit in a desperate move. Driver with most points out of both races wins that engine class. 3. Rodeo or Destruction Derby. Now it's everyone in, no matter what car, as long as it is running. Last one driving will win. Playing dead to avoid being hit and then engage with a good car at a later phase is usually avoided by disqualification for "defensive driving" (explain that to a judge in traffic law) 🤣 Out of count: Junior race. Only very small cars (up to 1300 cc, back then average 45 horsepower, a real strong one maybe 60) allowed. First to complete a number of laps wins. Nudge and spin allowed. Direct hits not allowed in any way. Juniors 12 to 16 could not participate in any other race, 16 to 18 with approval of parents could also take part in heats 1 and 2 of regular races but not Rodeo and only in the smallest engine class. Overall it is safer than one might think. For sure there are broken bones or so occasionally. But I probably ended in hospital mountainbike racing more often and more severely than my friend's father doing banger racing. I only remember one broken thumb in all those years on him. And even that could have been avoided if he had covered the steering wheel with a plate as most drivers do. He was just too lazy and it was not mandatory at least back then.

@@MirkoC407 man there's a lot more to Banger Racing then what is seen on KZbin. Don't know how I feel about letting kids do that but considering they don't allow heavy hits and mostly spinouts I could see that. Where I live if your under 18 you can't even compete with a car, no exception. Think highest you can do is a for kids (mainly 5 to 10) is Power Wheels (those battery powered cars kids cam drive) and for kids I think 14 and up are Riding Lawn Mowers. 1. Power Wheel derbies are interesting. It's usually about a dozen kids they have by one corner of the track. They have 5 minutes to drive around and bump into each other while their parent keeps track of how many hits they have done. At the end they tally them up and which kid had the highest hits wins, but they still give each kid a prize like a ribbon or something. 2. Riding Mowers are a similar concept. It's a mixture of the time based points and a normal derby. They have to have buffer bars welded on the side around the foot rests to protect the drivers legs from side hits. Usually it's a timed event with whoever has most hits winning but it does occasionally happen when the mowers do die and they win by last person standing. 3. Compacts Pretty much a standard derby with compact cars (small cars that are usually front wheel drive and run a 4 cylinder engine, sometimes a V6. Examples could be an early generation Ford Focus or Toyota Corolla). Most rules regarding safety will vary a little depending on the promoter and track bit the basic bit is gutted interior, drivers seat must have a seatbelt, and you must have a steel bar mounted on the frame of the car behind the drivers seat (usually welded to the frame behind the drivers door frame). Some places will allow a wraparound box style bat cage (weld a bar behind the seat and a bar where the dashboard was with two bracer bars along the driver's sides) and even a roll bar but most just do the standard back bar. Doors can either be welded, chained, or bolted shut, very rarely promoters allow no door modifications but that's more just pure backwoods derbys. 4. Midsize cars. Cars that are bigger than the compacts usually running 6 cylinders and sometimes a 8 cylinder or two(good examples are the Buick LeSabre and Ford Taurus). These are mostly a mix of Front Wheel and Rear Wheel drive cars that go up agianst each other. Same protection rules apply regarding the doors and safety bars. Compacts and Midsize are more common for car derbies here cause most are very cheap to build. A standard compact derby car if you do just the basics can easily cost about 500 to 1000 dollars, just on finding the car and adding all the stuff to it. 5. Full size cars are the big V8 two door and four door cars that are the heavy hitters of a derby (examples like the Chevy Impala and Ford Crown Victoria). These ones usually cost more especially for an older model car because of the scarcity of them to use for derbies, even more so where I live due to snow and a ton of salt usage on our roads that eat up cars on rust. Again same rules regarding protection but they also have different classes for all these vehicles like Stock Derby Cars and Modified Derby Cars. Stock Derbies are mainly based on you have to run the car with parts from that manufacturer alone and you cannot modify the car outside of the doors and safety bars. Any aftermarket part or part not usually found on that car will range from a penalty of removing the part to disqualification depending on how many illegal parts or the severity of the parts advantage. Modified Derbies let you go all put with modifications as long as it fits the rules they set for it. Usually this allows to add more metal, different engines and bumpers, better axles and stronger safety bars (usually a roll bar or even a full cage) as long as it fits that events rulebook. Most modified events have different set of rules for modifying a car. The track. Standard dirt rectangle the about 300ft in length and maybe 150ft in width (think an American football field). Usually the dirt is soaked through into soft dirt or mud as to slow cars to around 25 to 30 mph. Still allows for heavy hits but the reduced speed gives less risk for a botched hit. Also we do not allow a drivers door hit (pretty self explanatory). Otherwise we do have events where they race around a track but my local one doesn't call them derbies (granted some of the drivers act like it is) and we have derbies for more vehicles (like trucks, buses, and combine harvesters) but these are the ones I usually see around my area. Overall it's fun as hell but certainly more focused on less speed
