Derby and not a Peak or a Chopper in sight. How its changed since I was there. Happy to see a pair of Duffs (47s). Even they are getting rare. RTC Derby looked busy though. That's a good thing . Thanks for posting 😀👍

Another excellent video as always mate. I’m from derby myself. Not much goes through derby . Most of the freight trains go via stenson junction then up towards Tamworth high level station. Keep the videos up really enjoy them

Nice little run out there Keith. Not a bad idea to spend much of the time on a warm train, and you still picked up the locos passing Leicester and Derby anyway. All change soon with those HSTs, get them while you can!

Oh i love the Derby RTC yard you pass Keith, sadly not so much around on that occation! Nice leisurely trip here and as usual so much to see! The railways are all very boring now for the most part. Small numbers of train types, all sidings activity gone, private sidings long gone, trackside activity and shunting all gone. It really is 'the future' now isn't it. Within about 10 years or so, the 20th century remains have been swept away. Multiple units and container freight is virtually your lot now.
