That train nose in the distance and almost impossible to see is a class 67 loco, I stopped and watched it again a few times, paused it and went full screen and cross-referenced it with likely candidates and checked on images. Enjoyed the video and it surprises me to see so many vintage locos in use today. I particularly like the class 37 sound and 2nd of my favourites as the obvious all-time number one is the class 55 Deltic sound.

Thanks for another enjoyable trip. Pity about the door that didn't open though. Being on Market Harborough station reminded me of being taken to Leicester to visit relatives, in the 1950s, when that station was a dark place. Then all those stops on the way to Northampton, such as Lamport. No corridors on that train, just 3 coaches, pulled by a little tank engine. It always seemed to go fast though.

Well that didn't work out too badly Keith, in fact had things run to time you'd have got a Colas 37 at Derby too and almost the 56 coming back with wagons. Still, despite having to use six trains for this round trip the timings were just right for the unit drag and test train on return, and 66799 to finish which I've not seen myself yet. Thank you for sending the Rushton clip for my parents to see.

Keith I had a ride on the Elizabeth Line the Monday after it opened. As I can't cope with stairs and escalators the underground is of no use to me. I caught a train from Hemel to Euston, a 205 bus from Euston to Paddington, an Elizabeth line to Abbey Wood and a Thameslnk train from there to St Pancras from where I walked to Euston for a train home.
