I think the Sniper COM has pretty good skills, except for maybe Precisi0n. Don't think Zer0 needs a Cat COM and it might've been a bit OP if it just boosted his best skills. I think it's good the way it is. Also Ninja could've had C0unter Strike instead of Resurgence to go full damage, but it's good as is it imo and still an excellent COM of course.

Since every sniper Zero should be using at least one Pimp, Precis0n isn't a waste :) You will be hip-firing a lot with it. And the awesome thing is, the acc. recovery depends on your total amount of accuracy. More you have, faster it recovers. So you can REALLY make hip-firing work with Precisi0n.

Precision is a very good skill for Snipers when you don't have a Pimpernel(which means you can be running Two Fang). It's amazing for the Lyuda. Precision is also always better than Optics, which puts you at a disadvantage more often than not(there's an enemy running towards you, let's zoom further). On moving enemies, Precision is invaluable and Optics is terrible. I also disagree heavily in At One with the Gun vs. Kill Confirmed. I go 4 in At One and 5 into KC, 80% Crit damage is an absolutely massive bonus just for zooming in and Optics makes this skill worse. Precision will also always help your FFYL weapon, which is most likely not a sniper, but rather a Norfleet or a similar weapon. I also disagree that Resurgence is a good skill on the Legendary Ninja COM as it doesn't health gate you at 10/5, which makes it really really really bad. You need to kill somebody with a melee attack to not even health gate? No thanks.

watcher821 While you ADS, (most of the)Sniper Rifles have 100% accuracy. That's what Derch was getting at.

+watcher821 Zer0 already has so much Damage, but also holding down on the scope to get that 80% is slow and zer0 needs to both move fast and hit fast for rising shot. Also zer0 has so many critical hit buffs already so that 80% isn't as impressive. At One With the Gun is better because it lets you get more out of that damage, mag size is also huge for CA and Rising shot as well. If you already have the damage buffs some DPS non damage buffs > DPS buffs. The reason I kinda like optics is if you have a lot of enemies shooting at you then you have bad recoil and can miss, in those situations its important to hit. Im not saying I love optics but its nice.

they should have made kill confirmed just a flat bonus to crit damage, not scaling with time, but it only activates after you've been ADS for 1 second. that way you can't just run around at full speed and tap ADS for a millisecond to get the boost, but you can still take advantage of the full boost without needing to waddle around in close quarters with the scope up.

I agree with the waste on Iron hand, that can go to Optics for the Leg Com boost. They really don't have a choice but to boost Counter Strike. So I am fine with that since all these coms are following the rule of boosting 5/6 T1 skills. Counter Strike really needs certain type of shield to work well. It is one of the little RNG you have to watch out for and go into deception right after it procs for that massive melee damage. I found Antagonist to do wonders with it, Sham is another one but I don't really use that shield. Let me channel Captain Hindsight for a second and tell you how they should have designed Counter Strike. Let it work on Zer0's Deception also, so Zer0 can be hiding in safely while his Deception gets him that boost.

i use 10/5 in velocity with lyudas on certain raid bosses, e.g. terramorphous. if the bullet split happens too early, the side projectiles will just miss terra completely. with this, you can get at least 2 to crit.

Couldn't the legendary hunter with the 22% reload and +5 fast hands make a shoot-reload-shoot-reload build viable for one shot one kill? Especially with items like the rex, elephant gun, buffalo Also, if you with any sniper com what would you aim for in a shield? I'm guessing either tediore or preferably anshin with fast recharge and high health bonus with low capacity

Why exactly is the Slayer of Terramorphus in there? I mean, yes, it´s on legendary rarity but this video, according to the titel, is about red text class mods and the Slayer of Terramorphus doesn´t have any red text, which might be the reason why it is so bad compared to the legendary hunter...

I did all the legendary com's red text or not. Legendary Sniper, Ninja, and Killer don't have red text either. So I cheated a bit. Also its not bad because a lack of red text its bad because its poorly set up, they all pretty much are.

Yes, they do. Sniper: "Boom, headshot!", Hunter "I never die", Killer "Well, that escalated quickly" and Ninja"In the midst of combat keep stillness inside you". And so you could say it is safe to say that the Terramorphus one, being pretty much a worse legendary hunter classmod with weaker skill bonuses is bad because of it´s lack of red text or at least bad considering it´s legendary rarity...

Kill confirmed isn´t too bad, it´s just great with slow, high damage snipers like the buffalo where you can´t get CA stacks built up anyway so you can just take your time to aim properly...

Also, it has a really good synergy with hyperion SMGs and pistols where you will be aiming down sight all the time and have your nice revert recoil which makes it really easy to stay on the crit spot. It´s just not really a skill for the sniper COM and the sniper tree, I´d rather have it instead of this skill(how was it called again) with the shock damage in the cunning tree. For the sniper tree they could then jut add a new tree with a flat damage increase for all snipers or something simular to Mordecais skills in the first game....

Does Precision (or accuracy) have any influence on recoil? I use it because I use either the Lyudas or the crit machine a lot, but also because Man of Low Moral Fiber used it and he did a great job with it, but maybe I'm just mistaken about this. Does Optics not mess with zooming in too much? I hate big zoom-ins. I also think you should have mentioned the great sinergy between the sniper COM and the shotgun builds, mainly the Jakob ones. Love your videos!

I know this is a really nitpicky comment (I'm genuinely asking because I'm loving your content though, so maybe that cancels out a bit of the nitpickingness?), but any chance you'll be getting a better mic? Maybe it's the position or something else, I don't know, but it sometimes picks up a distracting amount of peripheral noise (such as breathing, how dare you?). +Garrett Brochard forgot to mention this, but you wanna use a level 72 sniper com, cuz you dont lose too much sniper bonuses, but you take a lot less shield capacity reduction. Also, precision is really handy on the sniper com, so you can run a shotgun with your snipers to handle things up close. Also, you gibbed in some of the coms with the wrong manufacturer, which was kinda funny.

+Derch A Level 62 has a -43K Shield penalty. Level 72 is -148K and OP-8 is -394K. I think it's significant. When using a Level 72 Blockade (628K), a 62 Sniper is a 6.9% reduction compared to a 23.6% penalty at 72, for only a 4% boost in stats. If using an Antagonist with a higher capacity (946K), it's 4.6% hit at Level 62 vs 15.7% at 72. I didn't run the numbers at OP-8 other than figuring out the baseline shield penalty. Once I got my Leg Sniper at 62, I stopped picking them up.

I disagree with so many things you say, especially about sniping (don't often like playing melee). Mostly about precision (more accuracy is ALWAYS better, certainly if planning to use mid to close range weapons effectively at a larger distance, which is what snipers want, fighting at distance), bullet speed (pretty much the same reasons as above, plus slow bullet speed for a sniper is horrendous) and kill confirmed (plus 80% crit is a big number just for aiming, especially against bosses with deception). You want every bullet to count as a sniper because you don't want to run out of ammo every minute, more damage is therefor always better and it enables using maybe less powerful snipers which are handier in certain situations.

Velocity is awful for sniping. You are usually gonna use a pimp or lyuda, and this skill effects them negativly. Snipers already are usually pinpoint accurate, and go exactly where you aim them. Kill confermed,is a terrible skill. You aren't usually gonna waste that much time aiming down sights .
