Have you forgotten what music was popular in that era, or the fact that paintball back then was played almost exclusively by kids under 25, with the bulk of recball being teenagers? This is just the music that was popular at the time, and DERDER was known for having the raddest soundtracks to all their videos. Whoever chose the soundtracks was a real music nut cause many of their films contain bands whose is considered now to be genre staples. Push and 300fps had some of the most influential emo bands of the y2k era that are widely considered to be some of the most influential and genre defining bands of the 90s/early00s.

I'm 35 and been playing since 98. You are so wrong about Derder videos in general. They were light years ahead for paintball. They brought a very raw, funny and chill vibe mixed with all kinds of footage. Kind of like 411 videos did for skateboarding. Same thing. Still holds up to this day, sorry you just suck?
