Took my wife to see her in concert at Wembley London back in the 90's and she blew me away. She sounded fantastic live. She done her full set almost 2 hours and as everyone was leaving the steward told us to wait in our seats for a bit. When the crowd had gone and only about 150 of us left she came back out and done another hour just her and her acoustic guitar. In my top three concerts that I have been to easily.

@@sexysadie2901 It is a truly beautiful song with a sad back story. She was involved with a much older man in her teens (in her HBO documentary she mentions him as a pedophile) and must contemplate if this sexual relationship is his obsession with a young girl or does he love her. He is obsessed with....that is why she needs "a moment to deliberate".

The Jagged little pill album changed my life and I'm a dude. The music and lyrics are amazing. Let's face it, we've all been fucked up by a breakup and felt like we were treated like shit, replaced to soon or were replaced to early. That album really struck a chord with people and exploded. Also, I saw her in concert and it was one of the best I've ever seen and I've seen everyone from Garth Brooks, to beastie boys, to Paige and Plant in '98. So I've seen some great concerts and she's one of the best.

I ( as many I guess ) have a long history with this song, back to City of Angels, and an even longer history with Alanis ( like we are best pals....... :) ) way back in the 90's. I have always loved and followed Alanis and I know a lot of people who don''t know her past her Jaggered little Pill, in my ope most underrated female singer out there. I have seen how you love to dive into your artists, so I hope you take that dive into Alanis land :) :) Her most current song is called Rest, it is the last song I listen to lately, headphones on, in bed, on the brink of coma...... but also in the day :) you could check it out. peace
