I love thw whole aesthetics of the music video. It is giving 1930's German Expressionism (Fritz Lang "Metropolis" for example) with the twist of the 90's era. Like the movies of The Fifth Element or Germany's Run Lola Run. I abspolutely love this song. Kylie Minogue comes out with hit after hit. I thought Aphrodite was her best album, she proves me wrong with Tension. I ❤ Kylie Minogue and I can't wait for her Vegas residency. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

You should review her track 10 out of 10. It is also going to be in this album. It was the first song released and for some reason has been largely ignored despite it being an utterly amazing track. It too has a 90s club house style sound and its as raunchy as tension as well.

In May, all the songs got prematurely made available on TikTok, this song and Vegas High are absolutely euphoric and i'm so glad she released this as the second single, I think she was seeing how much the fans were talking about this song and wanting it as the next single versus the planned second single Hold On To Now. i think it´s totally fine to say it is a grower, not everyone could like it right away. to be honest i wasn´t even if you might like it or say maybe it will grow on you. but yeah same here i like the song sooo much. and i hope for her that this is giving her good chart positions. this shows that people should also stop with the ageism kinda thing. she is still killin it and it is never cheap. great reaction!!! my face probably looked the same when i saw the video haha. i kinda have the feeling that vegas high might be the third single.

the problem is that USA radio stations, notably KISSFM and locally here in Chicago with B96 where I am, aren't putting Padam Padam or Tension into heavy rotation let alone regular rotation and it's fk annoying AF because we as a country should be kneeling at her feet for finally considering a Las Vegas residency. Like, we should be paying homage to her by giving her the proper radio airplay she deserves but these so called radio conglomerates think they know better in playing music.
