This is what I love about you, Dereck. You use your platform to speak out, as everyone should. The fact that our music tastes are very similar is a bonus. I buy records(and tapes and CDs) but I’m not that interested in the VC. OG, reissue, colored vinyl, etc don’t mean much to me. Michael Dawson, who you turned me on to, is an exception because of similar tastes. I love that the channel is not a commodity. You are a necessary voice. Happy Birthday, Stephanie! Cheers, Dereck!

Hey Dereck, Only ZAPPA I have ever bought was FREAK OUT . HOT RATS is a LP I have been wanting to buy of late. I don't ever come across it in the stores. I know I could buy a reissue but I am going to continue to hope I come across an original. I am not going to watch the debate tonight. Very unusual for me to make that decision, but when I lay down to sleep tonight I just do not want these 2 guys going back and forth to be the last thing on my mind. I know and I am dead serious it would affect my sleep. I will be getting the total recap on the news tomorrow morning. One last thing, HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE. Take care Dereck

Brian Eno is very talented musician. Brian Eno has a new album coming out soon. Can't wait to check that out. Frank Zappa was a amazing musician I need to get more of his music.

I wonder if Matching Mole's Little Red Record was the first time Fripp and Eno worked together. I was very excited with Fripp, Eno and Wyatt working together on the song Gloria Gloom. I once literally bumped into Eno while he was entering an art gallery and I was going out. I stepped back in dumb awe while he smiled like a miraculous mandarin.

Good morning, Dereck. Happy birthday to your sister, Stephanie! Hope she’s having a great day. Just so you’re aware, I wasn’t “going on and on” about capitalism in my comment yesterday and I feel that you misinterpreted my comment. However, Nick Maestro’s comments did address and discuss that topic. I point fingers at no one thing or issue as a root or cause of anything. The state of the world is driven by a deeply complex multiplex of variables and their interactions, with many, many unknowns. Thanks for showing some of your Eno collection. I have many Eno albums, but am always on the dig for more. Take care, Mike

Interesting as I wasn't referencing you. It was something else.

I’d also like to say, I don’t believe that capitalism is somehow magically to blame for all of humanity’s problems… maybe my comment yesterday was too long. Existence itself is really to blame, and capitalism has both helped human quality of life and harmed it, in certain ways.

@@nickmastro6870 It wasn't your comment either. I was referencing irritation at the people whose comments I deleted.

Capitalism is a reflection of human greed and selfishness itself, which is to blame
