Man I loved DA on the Panthers, always felt safe knowing he was the back up. Thanks for another great video.

I’m glad DA had a good time with Carolina. He’s one of my favorite backups we’ve had and this interview backs up my thoughts on him. Seems like a genuinely good guy.

Mr. Anderson was the only Browns QB I can recall, out of all of them, that opposing teams' defenses perceptibly feared. They wouldn't run secondary blitzes against him like they would others; bc they knew he could and would throw it over their heads and hit WRs behind them downfield. He did get picked off a lot; but mostly bc the CBs and safeties stayed deep rather than charge the line. If they'd treated him like Frye or Holcomb, he'd have torched them every time.

This is GREAT content. Good job Joey! These are the kind of stories hard core browns fans love. Thanks. It's good to know that Derek felt the same way as the rest of us about that Bengals game they lost that, had they won, would have clinched a playoff spot.

That was awesome as usual! I really liked DA in the 2007 season, he was magic. I was at the Miami game in Cleveland. I always love hearing the players when they say 16 years later that a game still bothers them. That game against Cincy in 2007 @ Cincy was unforgettable. I could feel the entire city was sick because we had such an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot. You can tell that game still makes him sick. I also saw DA in the pro bowl live in Feb 2008. Good to see him doing well, and the disfunction doesn't surprise me.

This is a "woe is me" interview. The browns drafted joe thomas, then surprisingly quinn fell, so we moved. It wasnt the plan but was originally seen as an amazing move

I wonder how much more successful the browns as a organization would be with different ownership. I could only imagine how a fan led ownership group like the Packers have would work. But that seems to be the constant with all of the dysfunction. It starts at the top.

When Ben Roethlisberger talks about the Browns whiffed on him, I always think about what happened to Derek, and how Ben could be telling this same story. Every QB has proved so far how dysfunctional Browns are and how they struggled to develop QB's. No surprises as a fan. However Cardinals sound terrible but they did make it to the Super Bowl.
