The thing that angered me was the word “months”. Granted 200 months is 16 years (22 and a half years total- though life is 25) but if it goes beyond 12 months then start using the word “years”. I feel that by saying the word “months” it took away immediate relief from the Floyd family- who have waited long enough to hear some justice. “Months” is an insult to the quality of human life!
