@@DerekConwayTX Random question before I start. I decided on building it 6’ tall with a 1 1/2’ shelf depth using 11 core 3/4” birch plywood with 3 shelf’s and using hardboard as the back do you think it’ll be structurally sound enough?
@DerekConwayTX4 ай бұрын
@@greylovato6389 I'd go with 1/4in ply, easier to work with, and you can flush trim router the backer off

@PaulCrake-c9t Thank you. I made this so long ago I don't remember. Just lay it out on your backer piece and go with what looks proportionate

Master DC, Would it at all be possible to get the dimmensions for this or hints/tips on the angle of degree in which you set your table saw to ? I'm a beginner and am nervous... Thanks, - Zac
@DerekConwayTX4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I rarely write anything down. I will say you need to get a cheap angle finder, t-square, and a long straight edge (or a long piece of scrap plywood) for long straight lines. Oh, and a tape measure. Lay out the shape you like then put that angle finder on it and transfer the angle to the saw blade. I show this in the vid.

Good luck with it, once you complete one you'll never want to make one again hahaha

I haven't seen many that I like as far as the ratio from the bottom, shoulder section, and top. Yours is perfect. Can i get your 3 width measurements? If that makes sense lol.

I know exactly what you mean, but I don't remember. I made it in a rush and never wrote anything down...

Did you make the stained glass detailing that you put on the inside yourself?
@DerekConwayTX6 жыл бұрын
No I didn't make the stained glass, it came from the set of the tv show Dallas...
