These are great ideas for small spaces. Not everyone has a huge house so sometimes creative solutions are necessary for essentials, but some of these ideas just highlight that the owners of the items need to get rid of a lot of extra stuff.

My husband built a cabinet for our 4 hampers and placed it in our master bath. It had 4 opening doors and the rolling hampers were easy to take to the laundry. It was painted white and the insets on the doors were papered with the same wallpaper in our bath. On top of the cabinet we had a 55 gallon aquarium that was just across from the whirlpool tub. Above the aquarium, there was a pot shelf that intruded into the walk-in closet on the other side of the wall. We had a nice TV up there and often had dinner and a movie from the oversized tub.

You don’t see closet like this anywhere unless it’s a department store. Rule of thumb if you haven’t used any clothing within a year they have to go. Any shelves just collect dust and all this around your bed it feels claustrophobic.
