Thank you ALL for watching and interacting with my videos. It's been a tough ten days (mentally) and the Cavan Way was a welcome relief as I began feeling a bit better. However, I've taken a couple more days off trail to pay better attention to my mind in particular. For more short-updates, my Facebook page is becoming extremely popular and here's the coffee link for those who might be asking ;) www.ko-fi.com/derekcullen

Just found your channel today. It was wonderful to spend most of today watching your Camino walk. I walked along it three times and only ever met three fellow Irish people in total. Now you are waking me up to the Ireland walk and how beautiful it seems. Your videos are well presented and informative. So why is it that so few people have discovered you on youtube? You are indeed a modern Explorer and an inspiration.

you are so right about the forest. once i was so scared to be in forest at night, then i went and the feeling was so strange like the opposite of what i expected because it actually felt like a safe zone from civilized society and all its demands and dangers

KZbin just algorithmed me to your channel, as I've been watching others walk the Ireland Way. You're the first I've seen go north to south. I would like to walk it myself too sometime. I just wanted to say yes, I believe that Fairies exist, and I have a healthy fear of them and great respect for their places.

Hello Derek. Another lovely little video. As for being alone, I read somewhere once, that sometimes the loneliest place to be is in a crowd. At the time, that was certainly the case for me. And like you now, I find a great peace at times when it is just me and the nature that surrounds me. Bless you Derek.

Derek, you should definitely look up more about Celtic paganism and that sort of stuff. I'd consider myself a bit of a Germanic pagan, I believe in the old gods and the creatures of the land. It's a very spiritual path that makes you more connected with nature. All the stuff you were talking about in this video is all so much in line with what pagans believe in.
