ive watched about 20 or so of your videos. they've been great videos. ive never rode a dirt bike but will be buying one at the end of next summer and watching your channel keeps me motivated towards that goal. i appreciate your to-the-point videos. keep it up.

Love your videos man! I think you can shift up a gear before most of the jumps because it's so high in the revs, making the throttle really snappy and making it very easy to air wheelie the thing!

I kept wondering why your bike was bogging so badly when you were braking into corners, until I noticed you are not pulling in the clutch when using your back brake. Grab that clutch and brake using mostly front and some back then build the power into the power band of the two stroke and drop the clutch. Especially on a 125 you have to be aggressive to scoot on them. Hopefully this helps you with breaking on those corners just after the jumps. Hope to see you out there sometime. We ride a lot of the same tracks.
@DerekHallman2 жыл бұрын
My bike didn't bog once this video broski 🤙🏻the rpms settle down to idle when I'm using the brakes that's all. Absolutely could not drop the clutch anywhere on this track except the one sand berm, it was like riding on ice. Thanks for watching hope to see ya at the track someday man!

You know what would be cool Derek, you should add some technical aspects to your chanel aswell, riding content is awsome, but technical touch is also cool, like showing people what products you use. For example this STIC metering carb, or pipe and silencer etc, almost like a product review if you believe in the products or not.

Smooth throttle up the face of that table top at 5:21 and you won’t get kicked
@DerekHallman2 жыл бұрын
Not true at all. It's all about line choice. I hit it several times on the left while on the throttle and it still kicked me, just didn't put every lap in the vid. 0 throttle consistent off a jump face will give the same result as 1/2 throttle consistent off a jump face.
