As a young man, high on marijuana, l prayed and offered my soul to Satan to play the guitar. I thought nothing happened, but soon noticed weird paranoid thoughts. I also played the guitar for hours when high. 15 years later after smoking dope daily l became a Christian. I had to be healed and delivered to break the dope addiction. 15 years later at an Alter call l went forward for prayer to share the gospel and in prayer it felt like a giant python was coming out my stomach. The pastors wife who was praying with us said " its coming out his stomach" then when it left an amazing anointing came upon me for several minutes until l couldn't take it any more and asked God to stop, l was sobbing with joy by now. Soon after at the age of 50 for the first time in my life l began to be able to write worship and praise songs and l am 66 now. God is amazing ❤❤❤

I know because I've seen how moody and nasty it has made many people that try to quit on their own. It's a drug for sure, with unstable effects from person to person. I have a medical practitioner in my family that confirms it actually triggers schizophrenia in people who suffer from that previously. Yes it is of course. While Christians can no longer have a demon in their spirit, we can be demonized in our souls. And even after all the demons are evicted, if you don't seal up with the Holy Spirit and be vigilant they can come back. Also, even when the demons are gone you STILL have to do the hard work of healing from brokenness and traumas.

From what I've experiencing the Holy Spirit leaves with sin, yes he is able to visit those with sin but he'll eventually leave. You know he is he's there, and when he isn't. Ask for a baptism of the Holy Spirit fire and to be Jesus' sheep and that God gives you a heart of flesh which you give to Jesus. It is Divine Providence I hear these words of wisdom today! Praise God! And thank you Derek Prince! Let us be ever vigilant in expelling our demons even as they may remain along side the Holy Spirit within our vessel.. this video is so timely just as I realize a number of people I know will succumb to Satan because they have failed to recognize this in themselves. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I had to speak the Truth to such persons recently, letting them know how they harm others through their deception...sadly when confronting them, I found out as Derek said they have two spirits. Because as long as they will not repent and confess their sin from their heart it will inevitably lead to corruption. They seem like holy leaders from afar but once you work with them up close, things are not as they appear. So I have had decided to distance myself from them and go my separate way. Such real life examples are when people are engages in God's work, worship, prayer, service, helping others and yet continue to commit lies big and small, living in hypocrisy, indulging in pride and abuse their power/authority, greed, deception, puffing oneself up, bragging, silence the truth, acting in a transactional way to get something to benefit themselves, engage in special favours/privileges to get what they want, impose/force others to do something they themselves themselves would find unpleasant and fruitless, allowing/complicitly encouraging others to worship them, false humility, closed hearted/lack of compassion, relying on false idols like fortune telling and so on..thanks for reading. I must say, I needed to hear this message. I think a great number of choices we make can invite demons into our lives. They can oppress the believer from reaching the fullness God has for them. It's comforting to know that in the book of Corinthians, it makes reference to the believer passing through the fire. What comes out on the other side is what we take into the kingdom. The impurities are left behind. Since there are sins of omission and sins of commission, we are never completely pure of sin this side of heaven. Take comfort in the fact that the man you spoke of passed into God's presence. God draws from the heart. That man's heart was bent towards God. I hope what I said to you will bring you peace. I can tell you are still troubled by that encounter. We are saved by putting our faith in what Christ did on the cross. He said it is finished. He passed through hell before ascending into heaven. It was to declare victory.

For a short period of time, God did not permit me to speak in tongues and I knew immediately why. I was a pagan before Christ and some pagans have a practice called “babbling “ (I know, can you believe it, babble!) but I knew that if in that time I had tried to speak in tongues then I would have been instead, babbling by the unclean spirit. It is in the area of the soul where we bring evil spirits from the kingdom of darkness, where we come from. When we come to Christ, only our "dead" spirit is brought to life by the Power of God. The REST of our being - that would be the soul - NEED TO UNDERGO A REGENERATION PROCESS. It is our turn to "conquer " our own territory, that is still held captive by the enemy. It is by the Power of God through His Word, and the Holy Spirit, we will conquer every specific territory/area from the enemy and expell the spirits dwelling in it. - It is a P R O C E S S ... it takes diligence, time and faith/obedience. @@GladysRWhite I'm asking you for specific verses in the Bible. Where do you get the idea that we come from a kingdom of darkness? It goes against Genesis 1:26-31. In a different post you said that nothing that comes from man is good, that it's all sin. But not even the most narrow interpretation of Romans 14:23 can attest that. I know where you come from with your division of the soul in three but I still find no contradictions to Corinthians 10:21, and I don't know where you get your other ideas from. If they come from prayer then fine, I can respect that, but they are things that at least contradict scripture as far as I can see, so I cannot take it as more than your own personal revelations, which as useful as they may be to you, I cannot take for my own. I have been blessed my whole life from my mother’s strong prayers in breaking generational curses of poverty. But at the same time I always felt God’s spirit with me, I had many old demons with me as well making it very difficult to avoid temptation. I have failed at every relationship, I have partaken in every sexual sin and have been fighting alcoholism for years. It wasn’t until God spanked me and i lost everything and ended up with nothing or nobody and I realized that i have a choice to either submit everything to God or end up in Hell. I prayed, repented, cried out, fasted and had to come to the point of being so tired of sin that i now hate it. I adopted a new way of thinking that I will seek God with all my heart and follow the ten commandments.

Our intimate and personal relationship with our Father is the most important thing in our lives. Feed on His Word, seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily, and honor Him in ALL you do. We need to learn to depend on Him for everything, and to obey His lead on everything. It's not easy because we have done what we want during all our lives.... so it takes practice! Practice hearing His voice in your every-day matters. Don't make decissions without asking what is His will regarding that matter, and obey Him. Practice with the simple things, so that you get used to His leading.... Even when you go shopping. Ask Him to guide you on what to purchase. You will perceive His restraint and you will perceive His approval. We need to constantly practice obedience to His leading.

I think the key word is "to HAVE an unclean spirit". Does it mean possessed or does it mean attacked by and tempted by? Certainly the Holy Spirit enters us and THEN begins to clean us up. Like the invitation song used at the Billy Graham crusades so many times "Just As I am" - we come to Jesus dressed in our rags and He will clothe us with His salvation and righteousness. Paul wrote about his struggle with his old carnal nature and doing what was right. Was Paul possessed by a demon? I don't think so. He found the victory in Christ over his old nature. But it was a daily struggle. Paul said, "I die daily." So I think a person who is demon possessed has no control over themselves. But a person who struggles with the old nature but who is saved and has God's Spirit in them is going thru what Paul described.

Hi. I know someone that was baptised in October last year and started speaking 'tongues' before they were baptised. 2 months after while praying in 'tongues' they were screaming out loud and shouting. This scared them. That night they called their pastor (that baptised them) and told them to read Matthew. Every time they tried to read they would get aggressive and shout. That night their pastor, mother and mother's friend also a pastor helped them by saying prayers etc. They were wiggling on the floor and coughing up and farting. They didn't realise they had demons in them until AFTER they were baptised because this NEVER happened before. They also found out they weren't really speaking in tongues. How can this be when they are accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour? They had problem sleeping up until now and now a groan or growl will come out of them every single time they pray. They used to sleep around a lot and go to tarot card readers etc a lot. Very angry which has gone cos they couldn't control it but now can. They don't know what's wrong. They think they haven't got the Holy Spirit now just is confused. And also they have been spoken through and it has made out is Jesus speaking through them. They scared what they have become.

Yes, the occult spirits are kicking up a fuss and dont want to go. The tarot, fortune teller must be confessed as sin and renounced. Usually, a parson who has a strong calling of God will be tempted away by the occult early on, because devil doesnt want the person to serve God. Encourage this person to fight back, plead the blood of Jesus, use the name of Jesus to bind them and cast them out. Of course, you must also be submitted to God and under the blood of Jesus. OBEY GOD! No more sexual sin! No more forune telling. No gambling of any kind!

Please don't say because the Holy Spirit and a demon can't reside in the same body because a demon is unclean. We humans are all unclean, believers are (or should be) going through a process of sanctification, but until redemption and glorification we remain unclean. The human body is 3 parts: spirit, soul and physical body, and the believer is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The physical body is the equivalent of the outer court, the soul (mind, will, emotions) the inner court and the spirit is the holy of holies. The demon resides in the soul and physical body, not where the spirit is. There are many deliverance ministries on KZbin casting demons out of believers. It's the biggest failure of the church these days, in recognising demonic warfare and many believers have demons and don't know it and others are suffering in silence. Do you think believers don't get sick? The bible tells us of the spirit of infirmity and sickness in more than one place.

A Holy Spirit filled person can be influenced by The Holy Spirit but if they have unsureendered parts of their temple, they can also be under the influence of a demon. This is why we have Spirit filled pastors addicted to porn and sex and masturbation.....

For God will not share his place with sin neither stay together; For God will not stand with sin; For God hates sin and sin will always be judged. God leaves when man sin. But when a man turned away from sin and repented, God draws near and listen. 2 Samuel 12:13-14 💕Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the Lord, the son born to you will die.” God and demons or sin will never share a place.

A demon can attach to a person who has been sealed by the Holy Spirit but cannot be possessed by it. Only nonbelievers can be possessed by a demon.

OR... it is very possible that William Branham was not saved at all, but only had several spirits of which NEITHER were the Holy Spirit. Why do I say this? I have listened to William Branham's recorded sermons. I've studied his life story. And he was a strange mixture of beliefs. He said that witches also heard from God. He said an angel told him that he had to convince the people that he was from God. Branham taught very strongly that there was only ONE true prophet of God at any one time, so therefore if one turned from following HIM, that one turned away from GOD. Branham didn't talk about his salvation experience. Instead, he talked about joining the church. Getting baptized. And he majored heavily on his supernatural experiences in his childhood, before he ever knew about Jesus. He said when he was born, strange supernatural things happened. Yes, he had strong supernatural gifts. But were they from God? Yes, he knew peoples' names and addresses... and he knew their illnesses and their history... and the power of healing DID operate through him. BUT. Jesus said there will be some who will say, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in thy Name, and in thy Name do wonderful works?" But Jesus will say to them, "Depart from me, you workers of iniquity, I never knew you!" Was William Branham a worker of iniquity? It's not hard to find out. His stories changed over the years. He was a liar. A con artist. He glorified himself, and preached false doctrine. But to Pentecostals, he was able to heal. So they are sure it must have been God's Spirit! Sorry. The devil can heal, too. All he has to do is stop making someone sick. All I can say is, Pentecostals had better get more grounded in the Word, or the Antichrist will make fools of them. Because he's going to be able to do great miracles, too.

A Christian can be flawed while housing the Holy Spirit. A Christian can be influenced by demons while housing the Spirit, but a Christian CANNOT share that house with a demon. You will not find a single Christian Scripture that says a blood bought, born again, Holy Spirit sealed Christian can be possessed by a demon. There's a reason this 'pastor' meets so much resistance to his claims. Those who know Scripture, know better.

I can affirm that both the Holy Spirit and a spirit of Adversary can exist simultaneously in someone. The Holy Spirit is cleaning/teaching one to eliminate such evil. Thank God 🙏❤️
