Have been to Salem at Halloween. So much going on and very much alive. So much to tour and learn. The history is very deep, and makes one think how life was back then and how hard! Just because you may think differently or seem different than some would want. In this day I would have been dead by now! Love the "readers." At night it really is unbelievable with music in the streets. Some scary though the costumes were truly real looking! Loved the restaurant that was by the water and pier and it had fish etc'' I live in NYS, and not really so far as one would think.'' It was a very nice trip! Took a bus trip from my home but we had to leave around 8PM. Did not have as much time as needed to see everything I wanted. Said I would go back but never have. WHY? Time slips away.

My boyfriend and I visited halloween weekend and went to Gallows Hill and did the 3 combo (live show, lost museum, and trolley) and loved it so much. Def one of the highlights of our trip to Salem along with the Halloween Museum. Can't wait til October :)

You are 100% correct count orlofs Is definitely the best museum to go to every year I go in they usually have someone famous from a current horror movie or old horror movie they have the actor come in and sign autographs and take photos one of the greatest places to go to cannot wait to go this year

When I went to Gallows Hill/ the lost meusuem, we had Art as a tour guide. He was awesome and put on an awesome show. We were their first show of the year and it was my birthday! I highly recommend going to this attraction if you have the time :)

Hey Brandon. If the two main parking garages are full I’d try the train station lot which is not a far walk from Essex St. Also the parking lot at the Salem Ferry which is on Blaney St near House of the Seven Glables.

So as for August, all the stores, museums and restaurants will be open but you won’t get any of the special haunts or people out in costume. You are just getting a hot day in Salem. It’s still cool, just not the whole Halloween feel if that’s what you are looking for. And a lot less crowded. Hope that helps.

Th Al’s for enjoying my videos. I think I described the difference pretty well between these two attractions. The Lost Museum is kind of like an interactive escape room with a guide. The theater is an special effects driven stage show telling the haunted history of Salem. Just buy the combo ticket. Do both. You won’t be disappointed🎃
