I believe its a old toll road house, there is usually one identical at the the other end of the toll.

The old lodge house to Stubbs Hall. There are deliberately no windows in the back of the building because that overlooks the parkland and the lord and lady of the estate would not have appreciated their staff in the lodge observing them while enjoying a stroll or entertaining guests.

drove past this 2 days ago,not sure if its abandoned still,lights are on in this house and outside the house and theres also a caravan outside,whether its being refurbished or made to look like it,i have no idea

Yeah I noticed the caravan...they may be doing it up I think it's owned by the person that lives in the big house further down the road
