When I first went to jail I wasn't impressed by anyone ...I was scared cos I was in an environment that I couldn't control ....but I discovered that 90 % of them are wankers...window warrior's....they give it the big un cos their scared little men ....it's very juvenile ...I get the straight people's obsession with prison ...but it's actually bullshit ..it's only people that can't live in the outside world that live in jail ..and that is weak ...and I was weak but it's an awful environment....I don't think people realise the misery and mind numbingly boredom that prison is

Coming from Runcorn, there was a fair amount of rivalry between scousers and mancs in the town through the 80s but things did chill with the club scene in the early 90s.. I used to go to the Hacienda in Manchester or jump the train the other way to 051 or the State..

IPP sentences are heavy and we’re abolished a while back .. IPP sentences I was away with a lad who got an 18 month IPP sentence and had served 9 years .. it’s all about doing all your courses and ticking boxes .. if you fuck about you end up getting caught up in the system and never getting out .. they want you jumping through hoops and doing all courses your asked to do before your put up for parole .. inhumane
