My opinion is was likely originated in the years immediately following the start of last iceage or other extreme natural disaster Call it a hunch but I'm really thinking this was something originated because the peoples had NO other option. The environment was unlivable so the people built underground. Hence the term DIG IN

I can hear my realtor now, “Look at all this additional storage!” Lol Great work! Imagine finding that in your basement, that would be wild.

Ha! Your realtor would need a long time to take pictures for your Loopnet page.

Hey, and legally they could advertise it as having like 70 bedrooms because there are several points of egress. Imagine the open house . . . begins at 3 on Saturday, ends at 4am Sunday morning.

I love your channel, you do so much research and have it so well put together and documented. Good Job. If KZbin gave out KZbin awards (like the Academy Awards) you surely would get one.

Plenty of fascinating history out there. Some of it right under our feet.

Derinkuyu is interesting, it's like it's built for people to live there for years and not only for protection.

As a Civil Engineer, I find this very impressive. I'd love to visit it someday. It looks like itd be an ideal place to take shelter into if the world falls into the hands of nuclear war.
@I_scribbles Жыл бұрын
Lol, forget nuclear blah blah. Those were made in times for safety during the destruction cycle. Comets bring all sorts of hell upon earths surface. Volcanism, plagues, falling stuff from the sky all sorts of stuff.
