yes!! a little bit is ok since it's natural especially in closeup whispers but when they start making those sounds on purpose i can't stand it, it makes my skin crawl in a bad way. it's the only trigger i absolutely can't stand

I really enjoyed your videos a couple years ago and just came back here for the first time in quite a while and I just realized what I miss in most other people‘s current ASMR videos that you have: Your videos just feel natural, you don’t fake some type of way of speaking, you don’t force mouth sounds or suddenly start tapping on a random object loudly etc. like many others now, because they think they have to because that’s ASMR to them. It’s quite refreshing and it reminds me that this is what ASMR as I remember it used to be. I can’t really describe it, but there are so many new ASMR creators today and they just don’t do it for me. They’ll be like "Oh yeah, the loud clicking of my nails on this random box I just grabbed is gonna really relax them, lemme also do a very obnoxious moist whisper right into the mic with random words, ah yes, make it sound like my saliva is dripping into the mic and running down your ear canal. How about I also create a weird cringey atmosphere by "flirting" with the camera"…“ Sorry, got a bit carried away there. It just bothers me so much.

@@yintoons7807 I don’t have anything against talking in ASMR videos per se, as long as they don’t talk too fast or too loudly or like I mentioned adapt some fake way of speaking. But you’re right, it can be unpleasant when they talk too much and I prefer it when they stop talking for a bit in between parts of the video like Blue is doing.☺️

Amy, I would venture to say that your voice has soothed me to sleep nearly every night for over four years. I have a handful of your videos that are my tried and true go-to’s. I never get used to them and they still give me tingles. I just want you to know how important you have become to my daily life routine. i'm a medical assistant at a dermatologist and the minute you mentioned the mole and the need to look at it w a magnifying glass i got so excited!! most derm roleplays on here are about basic skin care and beauty, but we do so SO much more than that--including checking all moles in skin exams and often taking biopsies to make sure there isn't risk of basal or squam or melanoma. amazing job!
