You're going to think I'm crazy but Bioderma is also amazing at getting stains out of clothing!!! 🙊 Or if I spill makeup on anything while I'm getting ready I'll just take some Bioderma on a baby wipe and dab it up! I've saved so many stained things this way. It's liquid gold!

My husband looked at me after about 2 weeks and said You look pretty. You're looking younger, whats going on? I use the Bioderma and love it too. I do use waterproof mascara and it takes care of it with no problem. I moisten cotton pads, press lightly onto eye, let it sit there for 15-20 seconds, and then wipe. Takes care of all the makeup on the eye. Mascara, Liner, shadow !! It's fabulous. Best I have ever used and I'm 64 so I've tried a lot. Then I do my second cleanse with a Tatcha or Paula's Choice cleanser.

La Roche Posay toleraine saved my skin. During the first months of covid my skin got bad (stress in combination with distance teaching and being a lot in the house and eating bad). Everything I applied on the skin made it worse. I decided to buy la roche toleraine and it felt so good on the skin. I think people like to use all the new and good looking products in their beautiful packages but at the end you have to do what is good for your skin. I now have a few products that I can always use without getting irritation: - la roche toleraine day and night creme - Olay retinol 24 max serum - paula's choice the unscrub - paula's choice 1% bha calm - paula's choice 30 spf defense daycream I'm still looking for a good cleanser that doesn't irritante my skin.

The CeraVe lotion stings my face at times, but for some reason, the Walmart brand is so soothing and gentle. That micellar water is really good. I actually wash my face with the gentle Cera Ve cleanser max 3 times a week. Otherwise, the only thing I use to wash my face is Bioderma’s micellar water. My skin gets very dry and skipping cleanser is the only way that has proven to be effective. I use very gentle cleansers. In terms of face lotion, the best one I’ve had was from Vichy (Nutrilogie 2), fragrance free, like butter. Unfortunately it’s been discontinued. I’ve replaced it with CeraVE’s PM lotion but it still feels like it doesn’t give me enough hydration. Will give LRP tolleriane a try, it looks like it could work :)

Well I've tried so many and I mean SO MANY and I'm not sure why my skin doesn't do well with creams and serum, my face always looks tired and my skin feels can't breathe! except the vitamin C you mentioned.. however! my skin goes well with oil, natural oil.. like hemp or jojoba or almond.. I always go back to natural oil

Just received the spf. Omgosh thank you so much. I was so sick of the extreme glow with all of my other spf's. Thank you! We already have the same favorite moisterizer. I'm currently working through my other vitamin c but am considering trying yours. Waiting on the water. 4 to 6 week delivery on that btw

Can you talk about benzol peroxide? I find the bp 5% cream i use once a day incredibly effective for keeping my skin totally clear from breakouts - however at 30 years old I worry it causes aging?

My HG: LRP Invisible Fluid, Toleriane Nuit, Toleriane Ultra Fluid, Lipikar Gel Lavant body cleanser, Curology, Avene Cicalfate. I just placed a huge order from a French Pharmacy website, and can I just say, that Cicalfate is like $26 on Amazon, and 6 Euros on the French website. Also the Toleriane is cheaper from France, and I think the formula is better. Oh, and I love the Timeless products too: 20% C , E and Ferulic, and their Co Q 10 Serum, also The Ordinary's 10% Lactic acid. Those are about all my holy grails.

What a great list! I don’t have many HGs but Bioderma Micellar Water is also on my list. I also love the La-Roche Posay Toleraine Hydrating Cleanser, and Stratia Liquid Gold. Still looking for an HG sunscreen. I’ve been wanting to try this Colorescience one; maybe this is a sign!

Enjoyed this review. Especially the Miicellar water. I hear so many mixed reviews on it. What do you use as your second cleanse after the Micellar? I am 64 and have sensitive , combination skin. I tend to have break outs if I use products that are pore clogging.

I can highly recommend the Paula's Choice Moisture Boost Cleanser. It's very gentle, rinses clean leaving no residue on the skin. It does not cause breakouts. I've been using it for 20+ years, and I haven't found anything better! I think it would be perfect for you!

It was so informative to me, my skin is the same type as yours. My favourite sunscreens are from Paulas choice ( the calm Line and the essential glow), a love other Paula products As well. Can you know them? Colorescience Will be the next one I try. Thank you the informations. My all Time favourites for Many years are: bioderma sensibio mask, clarins moisture replenishing lip balm, clinique moisture surge.

Antioxidants, especially vitamin C, should be in airless, opaque packaging, otherwise they oxidize. A dropper bottle isn't airless. I wish more companies would use airless, opaque packaging for most products, since many skin care ingredients are sensitive to air & light

I love the skinbetter alto defense! what are your thoughts on that brand? Also, eltaMD is prob my holy grail spf brand ☀️ and beyond anything else…. Tretinoin is my baby lol 🤍

I think SkinBetter makes really amazing products and I love so many of them. For whatever reason the Alto didn't agree as well with my skin and I didn't feel like I looked as glowy, but it's a great option for people who can't tolerate ascorbic acid as their form of vitamin C!

I swear by anything from the brand QV. I spent years trying to find things that work for my sensitive eczema prone skin and QV has been the only brand the I have found that has really helped my skin to recover from any flare ups and I haven't experienced any break outs aside from the occasional pimple (which is probably most likely caused by my not so healthy diet). I'm not sure if the brand is available internationally, but if you can get your hands on it then I recommend trying the gentle cleanser, the night cream, the purifying face mask, the sting free ointment with ceramides, and the calming and soothing moisturiser. Another huge plus about this brand is that the products are extremely affordable. Aside from QV, I also use The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid serum and the Cancer Council spf50 invisible matte moisturiser, which is also suitable for sensitive skin (fyi I have an olive skin tone and this cream doesn't leave a white cast).

Be very careful with bioderma micellar water. I didn’t patch test before attempting to removing my makeup and it burned my skin. I had a red inflamed rash on my face and it took two weeks to clear up with out any makeup .

Products I go back to, Hydro Boost Gel Cleanser, LRP Toleriane Cleanser, cream and night cream, Cicaplast balm, and Dermallergo serum, Avene Tolerance Cream, The Ordinary Buffet, Neogen Essence, Neutrogena hydro boost for dry sensitive skin (the one with no fragrance). Going to introduce Inkey List PHA in the next few weeks. Have been using the LRP 50+, but going to try your recommendation, the LRP bring chemical stings my eyes when I go swimming.

Skinnies Conquer SPF 50 is my HG sunscreen and my HG repair item is the Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream. I love the 5% Mandelic Acid By Wishtrend, for exfoliation. Still working out my HG serum and moisturiser. I do not DIY skincare... However... My unconventional HG is 10+ UMF Manuka Honey. Quality skincare is hard to find and extremely expensive in New Zealand, that said, wow do we have Manuka Honey laying around everywhere. I use it for masking, and at the moment for cleansing as my sensitive, rosecea prone skin (and now entering winter) is adjusting to Adapalne, and this is so soothing and nourishing..... And yummy lol it is proving a success so far.
