ummm... just because they're mainstream pop songs doesn't mean they're generic lyrics, which is obviously what you're assuming. Common song topics? Sure. But very rare for Swift to have "generic" lyrics. It's actually pretty damn original using fashion and "style" as a metaphor for endurance of a relationship. Not a huge Swift fan... songwriter.

lol what? He chose prob her most “pop” song to cover. And it’s one of the best pure pop songs in the last decade. The song is also entirely tongue-in-cheek. She’s playing a role in that song. Taylor Swift’s pen game is better than 99.9% of all other mortals. Keep up, bro Also, nobody writes raw and honest lyrics like Taylor does. Dermot is good, yeah.
