I found Dermot in the middle of a split with the mother of my daughter. We had been together 10 years. Dermots music was huge in getting me through those dark days and whenever I hear "I still love you though" it makes me think of her. I exposed her to Dermots music in the middle of the split. Dermot always finds the right words. The pain was intense but so was the love. He understands.

I would respectfully request you to rephrase your prose: fiancé refers to a man who is engaged to be married fiancée refers to a woman ... I look at your hoody-clad-head and think - she's just unaware, and if so, god bless you on that count. But, perhaps you really look at your object of 'love' and just think of him in terms of his finances. Is this what your parents raised? As I understand it, the wedding did not go ahead & can we fault him, your fiancé, for finding fault and kicking you to the kerb. Sir, I salute you.

Lyrics: We used to be giants When did we stop? Just say the word and I'll be yours You know I never forgot The hope and the hurt Has lived inside of me But there's gold in the dirt I never took the time to see But I knew of its worth when you walked beside of me And my hand fit in yours like a bird would find the breeze We used to be giants When did we stop? Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot We were the song in the silence But time catches up Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot I knew from the start You'd be the one to set me free That day in the park, when the hurt would hide from me Those eyes used to know me, it's been way too long You are the moon and the stars, and all they gaze upon Time won't ever move slowly, what you waiting on? Yeah, what you waiting on? We used to be giants When did we stop? Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot We were the song in the silence But time catches up Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot Darlin' (I still love you though) Just say you will (I still love you though) Will you remember those times? (I still love you though) That I have held until (I still love you though) Tonight (I still love you though) If you say you will (I still love you though) I'll leave it all behind (I still love you though) Don't you remember those times? (I still love you though) We used to be giants So when did we stop? Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot We were the song in the silence But time catches up Just say the word, and I'll be yours You know I never forgot We used to be giants (I still love you though) Giants (I still love you though) Oh, I still love you though I still love you though

Why did it take so long for Pandora to recommend this artist to me?!!! Dermot is literally my cup of tea. This artist has, within the last few months, become the music that I listen to the most. Music I have fallen in love with and have fallen so hard. My mind has added Dermot to my souls favorites list. And I haven’t added an artist or band to that list since X Ambassadors hit mainstream. Such a soulful, emotive, beautiful voice. Lyrics of every one of his songs tell such wonderful stories. Giants wakes me up every morning. For Island Fires and Family is currently my favorite and most played song. Without Fear album is an absolute masterpiece. Every song. Every emotion. The Corner, Outnumbered, Outgrown, Dancing Under Red Skies, An Evening I Will Not Forget. Days Like This. Just all of it. I love it so much.
