I’m actually trying to figure out what word to use to say how proud I am of Sean. And how I appreciate the fact that Talia wanted to dance with him. It’s such an honor. We’ve never seen Talia perform her choreography and the first time we see her do it, she does it with Sean. If this act doesn’t show how special Sean is, I don’t know what to say.

@Aidan Bason-Mitchell if they thought sean did better, then thats the way it is. Respect someone elses opinion. Also, he was paired with the choreographer who often doesnt like to be on screen dancing, so he couldnt interact as much as the other guy, but he managed to interact with her as much as he could

@Aidan Bason-Mitchell the first pair was soo good watching them kept u mesmerised. They go along well with each other and theyre sychronised with each other. But watching the last pair gave me emotional highs where the moment was so intense it keeps u on your toes( look at the dancers around them squirming and jumping cause they feel it too). And I think thats why a lot of ppl like Sean lew because he just makes ppl feel the song and not just hear it and watch it, watching Sean is just a whole experience. Sean and Talia are both great story tellers when they dance. Amazing talent.

Sean has brought a whole new interpretation into this dance holy crap. I've never seen this woman before but she was amazing as both of their free styling kept the pace and storyline of the song. They weren't concentrating on hitting the beat or the lyrics of the song. They're expressions and movement against each other was soooo COOOOL HOWWW Sean made really smart but risky decisions throughout the freestyle and it turned out flawless. They are so talented holy crap

I've lost count of how many times I've watched Sean's part here. People keep looking at it from a set of two people storyline point of view. But from my perspective this is much more than that. It's all about Sean. It's a solo. Talia represents the weight of guilt, the torment, the sorrow, the depression and pain that he is feeling as he dances showing how broken he is by past events in these lyrics. It's that constant feeling and silent thoughts that are always present, lurking in the deep corners of the mind and buried within the heart, that's what Talia is here. Sean's depth of emotions is so well shown here as he faces the camera like a silent plead of help, and the weight on his shoulders makes him finally break down while fending off the memories. It's him dealing with his demons as he is learning to slowly let go and be free and not rely on it to keep him safe in an endless cycle. By leaving that behind his back, only then can he move on. It's a powerful representation, an empowering hidden message for all sorts of heartbreaking situations and victims of this mental darkness. They did such a phenomenal job, that there aren't enough words to describe it.

Talia brings out the best in Sean. At 5:56 when she starts pulling his leg to get him on his head, you can see him almost put his hands down, but he quickly brings them back and he trusts Talia and it turns out to be super cool! Never seen him this emotional, definitely a favorite by him.

My now ex wife decided last year that she wanted a divorce after 9 years of us being together. We were high school sweethearts but after coming back from being deployed overseas, things had changed for, both of us. I had finally moved on after the divorce and was doing alright until I just saw this video. It brought me almost to tears, because I saw the energy and emotion y'all put into this dance. I felt the hurt in his voice as he sang. I was reminded of the hurt I felt when she told me she wanted a divorce. That loss, that emptiness. But it also inspired me to start writing music again. I haven't truly written any good songs, because the last one I wrote was to be sung at our wedding in place of my vows when we did our renewal, since we had gotten married at the courthouse before I deployed. Thank you for the inspiration because I had forgotten the power of music and dance through my hurt. Y'all have reminded me that the best music comes from a truly heartfelt emotion, not something forced. Thank you.

Talia and Sean just demonstrated what art looks like. Talia isn’t a genius doing choreographies, she’s a genius doing ART. Talia wasn’t in the whole piece with Sean but when she was? God, it was perfect. Someone here in the comments said that there’s not an adjective good enough to describe Sean, that he is his own adjective, I agree. That boy is blessed. @@myescape607 Sean also let's her control the freestyle because he knows she wants to work on getting better at it and he is already so good. He is supporting her like a good partner should. In moments like this, he gets to work on his freestyle with someone who has more experience than him and can support him like he supports Kaycee. Would be great to seem them work together with people like Talia to work more on their freestyle as a couple and not individuals. My interpretation of the first couple was like a relationship where maybe there was a trust breaking moment and so they are trying to get that back or regain those old times "do you remember when" and my interpretation of Sean & Talia is that of a son who's mother is deceased and she is still guiding him and letting him know that he can move on she will always be there but he is afraid because he feels lost without her, and he often dwells on those times they shared "do you remember when" just my personal perspective of the dances ❤️

This was crazy to watch, something about the stillness at the beginning had me captivated, and I felt like I couldn’t look away, or even blink until the screen went black. They’re such good performers. And then Sean appeared alone and I was ready for him to tell the same story, but as a solo. Talia surprised me when she walked into the frame, I’ve never seen her dance before but it was amazing how she chose to support Sean in this piece. Talia coming in and out just gave so much more to the piece. It became art. The first dancers made me feel like they were trying their best to hold on, but Sean was trying to let go, unable to get her out of his head. There was a moment when it almost felt like Sean was trying to get Talia out of his head almost like how people get water out of their ear, I thought that was such an amazing image. The other big difference between the two performances was the fourth wall. In the first, they were dancing to each other, fully in the story, feeling everything. In Sean’s, he kept staring right into the camera. I felt like. I was there, like he was telling me his story personally. You could see pure vulnerability the whole time and it was incredible.

the fact that Sean was so into telling the story through his movements and facial expressions to show the pain and hurt and emotions that go through the story is amazing. To be able to make yourself connect to the story so much and to put yourself into character is really hard especially when you don't talk but only use your body to tell a story. that is what makes dance so fascinating and interesting to watch. Dancers who dance not only with their body but put their mind, heart and soul into the dance are the ones that I respect the most.

Started crying at 1:26. This is so beautiful. So much respect to all of these talented dancers pouring their hearts out. I would give anything to see Sean and Kaycee dance a partner piece to Talia's emotional choreography. Anything. I'm obsessed with the way she brings out a side of dancers most of us have never seen. Their partnership is already incredible but I think she could bring something so amazing out of them. Hopefully one day.

I 100% agree. Talia is very good at pushing Sean and Kaycee (separately) in their emotional storytelling, which in my opinon is what they need to work on as a couple/partnering duo. They are already so good, but this was next level storytelling by Sean and it would be amazing to see it from Sean and Kaycee together. Hopefully we'll see a collaboration between them two and Talia in the near future. They need choreographers like her because they are already so good in most aspects. If you're reading this Talia, push them! Hard! LOL.

I just wanted to say how much I love Sean lmao, this is one of the best dances I've ever seen him do because you can see the emotion its like you can feel it and you just knew the story automatically from the emotion, and I think that's very important when it comes to dancing. when I was watching this I cried so much because I can relate to this dance so much from things I went through and im still going through.

There was such a stark difference in the first and second couples, but they both fit perfectly. The first one told the story in the dancing. The second one told the story in every single possible way, through the dancing, the facials, the disappearances and reappearances, everything. I've never felt so emotionally invested in a choreography before.

I've never heard this song before and I wasn't really listening to the lyrics but Sean looked so in pain that I started crying. Usually when I cry while watching a video it's because it brought up a powerful memory or feeling from my own life. Couldn't tell you what it was this time though.

It's amazing how different dancers can interpret the same choreography . Courtney and Diego make it seem like a story of love and all of it's complexities between two people while Sean and Talia make it seem more about one persons battle with themselves whether that's depression, doubt or otherwise much more of Sean's internal struggle. Both interpretations are so vastly different but both so intensely beautiful, well done.

Can we appreciate courtney and especially DIEGO? Hes only 16 years old and hes a great partner who can do impressive lifts and is dancing such complex choreo like this. He also has perfect technique. Did u all see how well he did the move at 1:03. His foot on the floor was moving on the exact same spot and didnt stumble or move even to the slightest inch when they did the turn, then he managed to jump so dang high with his leg perfectly straight. Perfection!!!!

these were both so different and I loved both of them so very much. every single dancer was exceptional and I was in tear for both duos. Talia is one of my absolute favorite choreographers (her and Larkin Poynton are my top 2 favourites, actually) and you can tell that with her directions the dancers find something so deep and new in her classes!

Ive watched a couple of videos of Sean dancing, and with that Kaycee girl. Im always impressed by Sean, he's legendary. His expressions and that part of the dance where he was running on the spot looking as if he's falling just really got me, if that wasnt planned 110% For wowing the crowd.

First off I just want to say that was really freaking beautiful. The contrast between outwardly confrontational emotions and internalized suppression of emotions. I loved every bit of both performances. 2nd Courtney's body is a dream. I hope to one day look that amazing. First group: beautiful It was like such a struggling romance. You dance so well together like two romantic interests who have been friends and lovers but dancing around hard truths. Such power and volatile emotions Second group: So emotional. Talia knew how to really bring Sean out and that is an amazing art. Even though her appearances in the video were brief, they were so extremely powerful. I couldn't help crying. Not surprising at all that Sean cried. This wasn't acting, this was becoming. I love to see him meet these kinds of expressive choreographers who bring out this other side of him. This was so him and every time I see him, I'm never disappointed and always see something new.

Ok Talia just gave me tears... I knew it was be powerful and emotional coz' it's a Talia choreo and the first duet prove me right, they were so amotional and they did strong and classic lines and moviments... BUU, BUT, BUT... I WAS NOT PREPARED to see what Talia and Sean did, they killed me with intensity, emotion, and I was for one second not giving a f*&$ to the choreo coz' they did so much more than a choreo there, I cried, then I notice that Sean was crying too and that I lost... Just watching the intire video again... prop to Tim for giving us so much emotion in the way he got every moviment, every line and every way too experience that work of wart, everyone involved deserves love for this!
