It's not difficult to create a loop like that, I could give my brother right now a 50/50 chance and guide him into that loop of trickery. The difference is that my brother would give up on the loop, and the chance would still be 50/50. When dealing with Derren Brown, there is no chance. In other Specials, he’s shown that he finds ways to manipulate the environment to influence peoples decisions. He did a special ones where he guessed what toys someone would pick from a giant toy store. Guessing that the person would pick a big stuffed giraffe. Afterwards he showed that while that person walked into the toy store they were a lot of long objects, and I think even pictures of giraffes in the entrance and that played a role in influencing the ladies choice of a stuffed giraffe. He did another special where he put certain things along the way while a person was driving home or something that he knew, would influence some of the things that person would do during his show. He also did one special where he made people draw a picture halfway through the show. At the end he had everyone show their drawings and it was a bunch of drawings of circles. I remember halfway through the show I drew a circle and it freaking blew my mind when I saw it as well. So he does a lot of psychological manipulation.

@colinthemarines2 жыл бұрын
@@Vugen18 There was no way, imo, that second scribble could be considered a 5. She had drawn two closed loops, one on top of the other, so if you were going to call it a number, the only one you could say is 8. Realistically, it didn’t look like a number at all, since the loops weren’t very round or symmetrical, but they were closed loops nevertheless, which an 8 has two of and a 5 has none of. But Derren simply had to suggest it was a 5 while claiming the audience thought it was a 5 as well, and suddenly it seemed reasonable. No one actually agreed with that to start, he just said “you think that as well” while looking at the audience and nodding, and of course he’s great at what he does so it sounded natural and as if people had made that suggestion to him, rather than him making the suggestion and just claiming others agreed, which is what actually happened.

What an unhinged reaction. For starters, why would he be the racist when it was the woman who said it? And if he predicted someone would say it, all it proves is some people's ignorance of geography or more likely that people panic under the spotlight and just blurt out a location. Some foreign people don't know the difference between the UK and the individual nations comprising it or how any of that works. Does that make them racist? Of course not.
