D-Rose deserves a statue - maybe not a big as MJ's, but he is from Chicago. If not a statue, then surely a large plaque. He still motivates kids in hoods all around the world because he just recently stopped playing, and after his retirement, he will get more fresh eyes on what arguably the best PG in the history of the game. However, it was easy to see those injuries coming because he was only 6.3", played like his was 6;8" with a heart of a giant. LOL. Good luck D-Rose with you businesses and family. Peace. Thanks for the great memories.

First of all, I don’t even know why he retired. He should’ve just signed with a contender one ring and then walked out. Is that simple he was my favorite point guard. I cried the day he walked away from the game. Why did you leave? He still had a lot of game left.
@mikeporten81742 күн бұрын
If he had stayed healthy and learned to shoot the ball better, he’d have been one of the top 2 point guards ever.

I don’t care what anyone says if the injuries didn’t happen Derrick Rose had potential to be in GOAT talks. LeBron James feared going against him and he had a super team at the time. He told Joakim watch this in the Milwaukee game and smacked a game winner on Brandon Jennings. This is a Barry Sanders situation. Derrick better be in the HOF.
@natebuiltit51582 күн бұрын
Also if you have arguments against him being in the HOF you’re probably some young mf that hasn’t seen him. Go look up the Bulls highlights and get back to me.

Yes he never won a championship there. Yes it was a short career to warrant a jersey retirement. But Rose’s story alone deserves that retirement. He was given a lot of outs due to injuries but he prevailed through it all. That alone is enough to get his jersey retired.
