Oh yes, I've gradually noticed more hints about Clare's sexuality upon rewatching the show. One notable example is that while the other girls (and James!) are admiring of and attracted to Father Peter, Clare is the only one who isn't. She also wants Erin to get straight to the point before they're all distracted by him.

This actress is brilliant. She combines high-brow intellect with great physical energy. I was in stitches with her drunk scene, the "maybe this is out there, but we could get jobs". The energy she adds to the show, they're all in trouble and her dad says "wait till I tell your mother" and she's in the background taking a breath in dread. LOL. I just read some article about people shaming her for a stupid reason. There should be a law about body shamers: one has to post their own pic if they're going to shame someone else, especially an actress as efin brilliant as this young lady.
