a 4minute video that teaches alot for 4minutes and its not someone talking and saying waht (not) to do while perfectly drawing, its actually showcasing the things that get explained. really nice, wish i found this earlier =D (this is literally the last video on my list for derwent inktense today, and i had a few 20min+ videos where i learned less bc people where just not doing what they were saying and i was confused the whole time xD)

I had to give you a thumbs up. I'm new'ish to watercolour (took a class on it back in the mid 90's....yeah, I'm old...). For all these decades, to me at least, it made more "sense" in my brain to go dark to light. Since picking up the complete set of Chameleon Markers + Colour Tops, I *just now* realized that I was going light to dark using them (most of the time)...and was amazed at how nice and easy it all was and looked. I thought it was just the medium...turns out it wasn't just the medium, but the technique. Now I see this video, and it all clicks into place in the ol' grey matter! :D Thank you thank you thank you! Now I know why going light to dark looked better! :)

Tried Inktense pencils so many times and could never understand why the results were not great. A 5 minute video has explained where I was going wrong 😀

Is the blue circle at the end an example of what to do or what not to do? It looks both good and bad.
@Saniheartcolours4 жыл бұрын
It's not the best example but I tried to show what NOT to do (using too much water) :-D

What is the difference between inktense and watercolor pencils, besides the former is permanent and can be used on fabric?
@Saniheartcolours4 жыл бұрын
Main difference is tht Inktense are way more vibrant nd vivid, I would say. For me there's no difference in how I use them. Same technique for applying colour and activating it with water.
