She stayed kind in spite of how mean her step-mother and step-sisters were to her, and the fact that Red and Chloe were successful in stopping the prank from ever being played on Bridget never had a single shred of connection to how Cinderella was treated at home by her step-family, nor upon Cinderella's determination to remain a kind person in spite of her unhappy circumstances during her childhood.
