you couldnt use rage becuase it costed one fatigue

At 13:40 Grisban couldn't use rage because it costs a fatigue and you had all ready used all four to get to the target after Jen trapped you!

That's true and what he could have done is when he started Grisban's move action, he could have initiated a trade with Tomble and nabbed that Stamina potion. Also, Grisban's character sheet is the wrong way around so his super special once per mission ability isn't showing which is to make another attack for free. That might have come in handy too.

I´m just late for the year 2022 as we got this game played and bought it directly with expansion, for we was - no! .... we are still fond of this to play. Though the Rules are most easy to understand, but there were some little defaults and questions about some details. So thank you very much for the excellent explaining and game through which must have been a big afford in you (not even the technical background to forget) P. S. Don't mind about the "speed" in Standard, but as i am german i changed it just one step down, and both i found easily to understand from the wording. Just go on with your kind to speak and explain and don't mind of some "Trolls"

I know I am late to the party, but I read where you said you didn't particularly enjoy this game. It reminds me a lot of Fable and I thought you would enjoy it for that aspect alone. Just got this game and wanted a better idea of how to play it, thanks for the vids, they are still really useful 4 years later.

There are quite a bit of rule changes in the FAQ version 1.6 for this mission. I believe one of them is the villager health is now 8 as opposed to 6. I highly recommend downloading it to anyone who plans on playing this game.

I like how you move the hero one space at a time. It feels like I have to struggle with heroes for the first dozen quests to get them used to moving a space at a time. I just printed out alternate Tripwire cards and such that resolve before/after turns which helped out pacing a lot.

Somewhere between 17:50 and 18:10 it is said that the merriod could not attack Tomble; this is wrong - it is actually said latter on that he is only 2 spaces away - which is in reach of the merriod's attack with the "reach" ability

I really love this game, but I think if you check the rules, the villagers can only move after the heroes have taken their turn. In fact most "NPC's" move after all hero players have taken their turn, the exception being familiars (like the Necromancer's Reanimate token, but even then it's either immediately before or immediately after the Necromancer has taken his full turn). It doesn't really change your first turn that much, but it can in some games.

Did you play Magic in the past? :) I've noticed that for anyone who played a lot of Magic, they tend to need to be reminded VERY frequently that the little arrow means it's an "action" not that you "tap" (or "exhaust") the card.

And I'm guessing whoever picked that arrow to represent "actions" didn't. :) It seems like it's a poor choice, because it's so similar to the "tap" arrow that's ingrained into so many gamers' brains.

fuloran1 because it's a game i don't enjoy playing at all, and because i'd already spent over 5 hours trying to film it in the first place, and because i don't believe the mistakes made (forgetting to exhaust a character here, playing characters slightly out of order there) get in the way of understanding what the game feels like to play, which is my sole purpose for making the video in the first place :)
