I was driving out of here in the late eighties with my 3 children on board when we rounded one of the bends only to be overtaken by an empty coach on its side going the other way !!!!!!!!!! Unforgettable and no-one hurt as the coach was empty being chased by the driver !!!!!!!!

Best driving exam ever - any driving school should attach this part of the road to its driving exam - especially on weekdays 1-3 pm, when there is a lot of runners, bicycles and buses and also cars :) - I did it an I am proud of it!!!

i made this descent in the mid 70's on a coach, terrifying!! no barriers back then, the tail end of the coach over-hung on some of the bends, proper scary!!

When I was over there I learned from a local guy that the local name of the road is " La Nus De La Corbetta". Translates as "The Knotted tie".
